I called CRC today, expecting to have to leave a message, but Debbie answered the phone. She was super helpful and answered all my questions even though she seemed pretty busy. I'm scheduling the diver for lunch, but one thing I could never find out, no matter how much searching I did, was what times the divers are available. She said 3 is too late and suggested a 2pm lunch. I already had ADRs for 11:30 and she said that will be no problem, as long as I don't mind the diver showing up a little while after we've been seated, maybe around noon. Of course I didn't mind! She gave me her email and said she'd get back to me soon. I'm so happy!!!

Wow! I left Debbie a message on 6/3 and she called me on 6/6! Boy, what a nice lady to talk to on the phone. It's all set up!! WAHOOOOOO!! I have it as a "surprise" for DH and the kids. It'll be our first meal of our 11 day WDW/DCL trip. What a great way to get everyone in the spirit!

Ideas for the photos, anyone? On our last WDW trip I used a film camera- so those originals are in scrapbooks now. Maybe pictures of us at Disneyland? Those I have plenty of. My "theme" is just going to be thanking my DH for taking us on such a magical trip. Any help previous menu-makers have would be greatly appreciated!

In the past Debbi has asked that we not give her email address on this sight..she wants to talk to you on the phone first and then she will give it to you with instructions

Can you very carefully take them out of your album and scan the pictures into your computer? That way you can get the pictures that you want! I have had to do that before. You can usually trim the edges right before you save the image into your computer and the picture should be just fine to use! Or take the page out and scan and crop it down to the picture you want? Just an idea. Or do you not have the negatives for those originals to get reprints made maybe?

I talked with Debbie last week and she has arranged a diver and menu for my DH's birthday. I gave her my e-mail address but I've not heard from her. I was in the car at the time (and DH was also there) and talking in code so DH didn't know who I was talking with.

that would be fine if we were in USA but its not that practical to call from Australia with the time difference. So if any one has here email it would be great. Thanks

This is SO cool - we just did this last week and it was awesome !

DH was surprised by the personalized menus and the kids thought it was 'just Disney magic' again!

They were watching the fish, thought - gee , there's a man in the tank- oh Mama, it's a diver...what's that he's holding????
THe first sign said - "(DH) you're my dream come true (Cinderella pic)
OTher side said "(DDs) Ariels hopes you will have a wonderful visit " and (DS) Dude, Crush says have a totally awesome time at WDW" !

THey were floored !!! IT is our favorite trip memory for sure. To surprise DH was bonus too.

If you do it, make sure you figure out how to take pics of the tank so they come out well. The lighting in the rest. makes it a bit challenging if you're not a photog.

I don't know how to attach pics here or I would attach mine......sorry.

I've never heard of this, thanks so much for posting. Is this like a sign the diver holds that says what ever you want or are their pictures on there too? Or is this a menu someone hands you? I've also seen posts about pictures, where do those go. We have reservations at the CR in early August taking two grandsons that would be so surprised!

maybe try calling her # and leave her a msg explaining what you want and when you want it and give her your email address...I'm sure she will find a way to contact you...make sure you give her reservaton date and time ...she can't set up a diver or menus without your info...good luck

You can get a cake through whoever is planning your diver and menu at CR. You can only get cakes from CR to be delievered at CR. The ones from GF are only avaible at GF etc.

Sorry for you guys that have already seen this but DD's cake from last August. I told them who I wanted on it and they found the clip art and did the cake.
