I just spoke with Debbi and she was absolutely wonderful. E-mailed her my pictures and what I wanted it to say. I was very surprised I was able to get a diver and the menus on such short notice. We leave in a couple of weeks.

One for my little sister
One for my DH
One for my DD which we will be celebrating her birthday and I am going to try to request the diver for her also.

I don't want to ask for too much but I don't know when we will have another family vacation again and I just want to make it as memorable as possible.

I think you just have to call and talk to Debbi. I'm having two menus made and I've heard of people who do more. I don't think it would be a problem. I beleive they are made and put on file as soon as she receives the pictures and info. I know she said mine were completed on 5/6 and my ADR isn't until 8/22.

I believe the menus are possible anytime. It's the diver that gets tricky depending on your ADR time and how many are already reserved.

I think you will be fine for Oct. I called last week and was able to secure a diver for our Sept trip. As for Debbi's email, I got the impression she would rather talk to you on the phone first, then she will give you her email addy so you can send her pics. She gets a ton of emails already with pics for the menus I'm sure it would be easier for her to talk to you first.

Make sure you call and get your ADR then leave her a voicemail with the conf #, date and your name and contact info....she will get back to you as soon as she can. (only took her 2 days to return my call!) Good Luck!!

You will have to call her first. That she will give you her email address.She doesn't want her email posted.

this was one of my favorite meals, the best part if you call way in advance they will always put you up front for the diver to dive to the glass right in front of you. It was incredible. My son loves sharks and he was in freaking awe of the guy swimming right next to those huge sharks!

He also got out and gave my son his "card" and gave him a stuffed turtle (the dude from nemo), really touched his heart. And best part, it was free! Free stuff at disney is always the bestest!

duh i just noticed they upgraded the menu....ours was just printed with our names, i can smell a charge for this service soon....i'm suprised they didnt already, i would pay 50 bucks to have that experience once. (but not now i since i already had it lol) it'd be worth it for that look on his little face!

nurseypoo5, I noticed the diver's sign and your menu had two different names. Did you request the diver for your son but a menu for another member of your party but without any photos? I ask because I am getting concerned that the photos I sent Debbi will in fact be used in DH's menu at the end of this month. I hope they are!!

Spoke to someone at Coral Reef who said they noted the diver on my ADR with what I wanted the sign to say. Should I trust that it will be done, or should I call Debbie directly to confirm that the note is all that is necessary? I'm concerned, since I thought they don't look at your ADR until you are checking in to the restaurant.

I would Call Debbi directly to confirm. If you get her voicemail, leave all your info and she will get back to you to confirm. She will then give you her email addy so you can send her pics for the personalized menu. PM me if you need Debbi's direct #. Good luck!
