Coral Reef Restaurant - Diver/menu - Discontinued for 2009

Is it too early to call her for my November ADR? I have made it already- my first and most important ADR! I want to thank DH for taking us on our first "big" WDW trip (7 days) & DCL cruise.

I would go ahead and make the diver/menu arrangments. I made mine about a month ago for my end of Sept. trip!

I called Deb last Tues (5/13) her message said she was out of the office that day. I still have not heard back, but from reading these threads, I know she is pretty busy. Our trip's not until August...so I'll wait a little longer before I panic!!!

I would call back at this point. Don't worry about being a pain I'm sure a lot of us call more than once. Good luck.

I called on the same day and left her a message with my email address in it. A few days later I got an email from her letting me know that she would have the diver and that I could email her some pictures to include on the menu.

Good luck getting that set up! I called on my 180 day to get it set up after making ADRs (I think back in Jan / Feb..sorry cant remember when my 180 days was)...anyways, when I called she told me someone else had called her earlier getting it all set up for the same day I was getting it done. Luckly must not have been the same time frame because I did get it all set up So dont be shocked if you cant get a diver. You can still do the menus though.

we ate at the coral reef resturant on the 5th may would NOT go again. it was really busy and although we had made a ADR they were still trying to get you to finish your meal and get you out as quickly as possible.
Just as we had finished our starter our main meal was already on the table, and all we had was a glass of water, we didnt get our orded drinks until we had nearly finished our main meal.
wasnt worth the ADR.

So long as it's not booked up for your adr time slot you should be able to still request it. We're doing an 11:30 ADR on Aug 25 and we got the okay from debbi. She said we might have to eat slowly as the diver doesn't get into the tank anywhere from 12 noon to 12:30.

I called Coral Reef directly a couple weeks ago and was able to arrange for a diver w/ the person who answered. (Was not Debbie, it was a cast member who spoke broken English). They also gave me an email address to send pics to for the menu. It was not Debbie's personal email. I have not spoken to Debbie directly at all. I think all you need to do is call the restaurant directly and hope someone picks up.

Both, but remember it's not available at both meals each day. Divers are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis and subject to availability.

Thanks, just wanted to be sure they also do for lunch since we have all our ADRs made yesterday (180 day+ 10) and booked CR for lunch. If they didn't have at lunch, I would change to dinner if possible. I am hoping for some pixie dust to get diver, but will not let it spoil lunch if we don't.
