Coolest Thing at WDW it took you several trips to find...

Where is Flight of Wonder? and can you really pull the rope? lol I'm intrigued.

Flights of Wonder is in AK on the trail that runs between Asia and Africa (closer to Asia)

And yes you can pull the rope and you'll hear voices talking - it's pretty cool!

Not hidden but People Mover. Thought it was just some dumb ride that went in a circle over tomorrow land. Thought it would be a waste of time but a few trips ago we got on cause we had sometime before a fast pass. Now it's one of my favorite rides.

I thought this was a completely lame ride that I vaguely remembered the equivalent of from Disneyland (in 1976) so always bypassed it. Then in Dec 2013, we were at EMH at MK very late and our feet were tired and the CM was standing at the bottom of the entrance. No one else was around and she was sort of motioning us to come over when I caught her eye so we went on it. What a nice little break that was. DH was able to take a lot of pictures over Tomorrowland from a perspective that you don't normally see. It was partly air-conditioned (when you go inside), there was no one in any of the cars near us so we had a quiet ride and were able to talk and look around. It's now on my list as a nice little relaxing time out

Flights of Wonder - I wouldn't have thought about it if I hadn't read about it on the DIS.

We finally saw this about 2-3 trips ago. I'd always thought that it was one of those parrot-on-a-bicycle type of shows but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not and was very well done. The only other show I've seen like this that showcases what the birds do in nature was in a castle in Germany which had very large birds (vultures and eagles) and I'd say that Flights of Wonder was about the same quality, just a bit shorter in length.

Both not necessarily hidden gems but definitely often overlooked ones.

more votes for Animation Academy and Flights of Wonder. I am also going to add the Earl of Sandwich. It is a nice change of pace.

Wait, it isn't one of those kinds of shows. What exactly do they do during the show?

They show how the birds fly, hunt, and eat. For example, they'll hold out some meat and let the bird fly past and grab the food from their hand. They explain a lot about the birds - how they fly, what they eat how they hunt, etc. All strictly about their own nature, not silly stunts or training.

The museum in Morocco and the tile room next to it. It's a nice quiet, cool place to sit and just relax.

About to try my first ever value resort at Pop on a split stay trip in April. Purposely booked a room in the 60's to be close enough to walk to AoA for eats - the food court menu looks phenominal!

We did this exact thing on our last trip! We were booked in the 60s section buillding 5, the specific room was 5234, and it was THE BEST!!! We walked over and explored AoA and had lunch at Landscape of Flavors and it was great. The make your own pasta and the bread that comes with it were amazing!

It took me 9 trips to WDW before I noticed Cinderella's Wishing Well. My DD and I loved making wishes there.

For instance, it wasn't until our third week long trip that we found the cool stream and wooden walkway that runs along the back of the Canada pavilion in EPCOT. It was very quiet and there was almost no one there. It offers a nice quiet escape from an otherwise crowded park day, with a pond and garden at one end, and a waterfall at the other. Now we spend some time back there on every trip!
Aww, I know that spot in Canada. When we were there for our Honeymoon in 2007, we stole a kiss and a quiet break back there. :)S4010812 1.JPG

On my first trip ('03), we were at Epcot early in the morning at rope drop and my boyfriend at the time and I snuck off to France and found that little bakery tucked away in there. We bought some breakfast pastries and sat quietly outside enjoying our time together. It was the quietest moment of the entire trip. NO ONE was over there! Now it's one of my fav places to return to. Gotta get a scone or a croissant while I'm there. :)

I don't know about the musical fountains in Epcot. Where are they? Also, where is the umbrella at DHS?

The taco salad at Pecos Bills. Well, really, Pecos Bills in general. We've had APs for a few years, and just found/made time for it sometime last year. Also, in AK there is a little stone 'room' with some benches and a table in it next to the coffee shop. That is one of my favorite places in the World.

My kids got to make chocolate covered marshmallows at Sweet Spells in HS. We were on the sidewalk outside deciding what to do next and a cast member invited us in. The kids loved their hand made free treat!
