Woo Hoo! They put my Mom's tickets in my name! They told me to bring her letter with us, with my ID. I'm so happy it won't be a problem.

WHo did you send the note to asking to change the name on your tickets? Did you just ask them to change it or did you have to give a "valid reason" to get them changed?

Letitsnow posted several pages back that this was the response from Ralphs/Coke to the question of whether or not the prizes (including Hoppers) are transferable:

prize to another person. Per the Official Rules, "No substitution,

I just received a $50 Ralph's giftcard in the mail today. I played one time and that's what I won. I had forgotten all about it!

It's also good at Food4Less and FoodsCo. That's good, because there aren't Ralph's in NorCal.

What we did, was replied to the original email that told her she won, and explained that she could not make it, and would like her daughter to be able to pick up and use the tickets. My name was given in the emal to them.
In 3 days I got the response that the tickets would be transfered into my name, and to bring the letter if possible. Then it just said we could enter the park starting at 4pm, etc.

I'm doing my part, I even ended up getting 2 nights at HoJo so we can make a really fun time out of it! I'll be leaving some money in Anaheim and Disney all along the way!

Ginger Renae, maybe you can try calling the DLR and asking about it to send them a letter. Hopefully you can do this in 1 week?

Yes. This worried us- and I couldn't find any email or address for the Disneyland Resort Partnership Marketing Office. So we replied directly to the original winning email, with original suject line. Also, asked if there was someone else we would have to contact.
That was good enough, luckily.
Of couse I let them know that a couple of little kids would be heartbroken if we couldn't use the passes.

Ok, I've never won anything like this so I'm pretty ignorant...

We received our PH's today and they're paper tickets w/barcodes. I'm assuming these were printed out en-masse, so the barcodes do not have our names coded in, right? How would Disneyland know if these were mine or if they were someone else's? How would they know if we sold them? do these questions make sense?

FTR I'm not going to sell them or probably even give them away. We were thinking that now we could invite a friend along w/o having to pay kwim.

you can take a friend with you instead of using them yourself... I have won tickets several times before I always give my hoppers to a friend to come with us how we have annual passes... that's what we plan to do this time also.

yay!! i just got mine. my mom actually refused to sign for it since she didn't know what it was so i had to rush over to the post office before it closes.

I think i might raffle them off during my daughter's 1st birthday party. We already have aps.

Yes, Verizon and Coke. So it's just one big combined party.

coke party 400 people got 4 party tickets. Verizon about 80 people got anywhere from one to 4 tickets depending on how many people you RSVPED with. It looks like there will be anywhere from 1500 to 2000 people at the private party... that number seems alot but i have gone to private parties in the past and they have been dead. Only verible is normaly there on a work night and this one on a friday night.
