i'm wondering if we have to use one of the tickets.. I won verizon and I can show my id... i want to get in and have 7 friends instead of me having to take one of the coke and one of the verizon tickets for myself.

Ooooh, good question! I bet that once you pick up the tickets you can give them out to your friends, as needed. Let's see, you have to show that you are the person that won them, then they give you the passes. But I do think it said you had to have your party there with you? Oh , I don't know.
The letter sounds like you can appove letting someone else pick up your ticket, or make changes if you notify them ahead. My DM has the letter, but can't go, so she emailed them back using the original email to respond to, asking that I be able to pick up hers. Now we're waiting to see if that will be allowed.
At least you will be present at check in, but it might be something to contact them about, so you don't have any surprises.

Now the hard part finding 7 people to go last time I had trouble finding four people to go and had to give two tickets to people on the boards.

coke you can pick up your ticket between 4pm to 9pm they let you in starting at 4pm.... verizon starts at 4:30... don't have any other info

I got an email back from the prize people. I had asked them the following:

1. What will be happening during the time we're there for the Private Party?

2. Is there an event schedule or something, so we will know what to prepare for?

3. Will there be food included during the party?

4. Will we be viewing the World of Color from a reserved viewing area?

"The World of Color Party Winners will be able to access Disney
California Adventure at 4:00pm on September 10.

They will enjoy access to all the shows and attractions including
reserved viewing for World of Color.

After World of Color they will be escorted into to the Private Party, 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., at Paradise Pier. The party will feature DJ, Characters, Photographers, Toy Story Mania, Screamin’, Food, Beverages and Games".

Just got my park hoppers in the mail and they are not upgradable. Darn. Oh well, that just means DH and I will need to go sometime next year, buy regular park hoppers and add on an extra day lol!

I just signed for my tickets! Yay for 2 free tickets- but boo that they are not upgradeable. This makes my plan suck. I dont know why they did that! It also is only good until 6-2011 in case anyone wanted to know and hasnt received their ticket. I am grateful still, but darn that does suck. LOL. Always a catch to a good thing lol!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll let my dad know. That does suck that they're not upgradeable. Being that we're all in N. California, we don't do 1 day trips, so we'll have to buy some tickets for the remaining days separately (not sure if the "free" tix will end up saving us any money!)
