Why's he crying?

DH broke his finger in at least two places. :sad2:

your husband broke glenn's finger in two places? no WONDER he's crying!!!

seriously, i'm so sorry about your husband's finger...that hurts like heck and it's difficult to train yourself to not use that finger until it heals.

glenn was talking about that man whose daughter disappeared in mexico...he interviewed the guy, but it seemed as though he was crying because the law(or whoever) has given up. glenn promised that his network would not give up. her father, who glenn interviewed, thinks she was given as a "gift" to a drug cartel. heinous.

Changing the subject. I was at a neighbor's house earlier this evening. Before, the election he was all "gung ho" about Obama. "He's going to do this and he's going to save the economy and he's going to fix health care and he's going ..blah, blah, blah."

Tonight, it was a different story. He can't believe the things Obama has done or what he's planning to do.

I said, "I told you so."

:rotfl2:
I saw that one the other day. It was sad.

now i'm a little worried. i think i'm all out of shark repellent bat spray.

A can of WD40 would do if you tape over the WD40 part and say it's shark repellent bat spray. Sharks can't read, they don't know the difference.

:scared:

from Michellemalkin.com --
Granholm mentioned as Ginsburg replacement

Yep, the Democrat Michigan governor is on a short-list of possible replacements for ailing Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Wait until she does to the law what she did to the Michigan economy

From Hot Air, re: Michael Steele --

Interestingly, the Washington Post only found out about the details of this story when they requested the prosecution sentencing memorandum from the Fabian case. The US Attorney accidentally sent them the defense memorandum instead, which had been under seal. The Post does a good job of presenting Steele’s side of the story as well. His sister, Monica Turner (at one time Mike Tyson’s wife), told them that this was part of a “get Steele” campaign and shut the door on the reporter, but they also reported that the Steele campaign has invoices for much of the money in question showing Turner’s work for the campaign.

Matt says that Steele has come back from bigger setbacks, and this may turn out to be nothing. Unfortunately, it will provide at least a distraction while Steele reorganizes the RNC. We can only hope that the charges prove entirely false and that Steele gets the same level of attention for his vindication as he gets for the accusation.

Good to know that the con bloggers haven't given up on Steele yet...

:scared1: :scared: :crazy2: :faint:

You have got to be kidding. Just what do the Dems see in her? Hasn't she been a disaster....oh wait a minute, that could qualify her for just about any job in the Obama administration.

She talks purty and looks good in front of the camera? At least that is what Rush proposed as their reasoning for her popularity with the Dems.

All this time I thought the mentors were Daley and Soros and it was really Roger Ramjet. Thanks for six minutes of non-stop giggles!

And, another reason to celebrate....

Move over Detroit and Chicago, my hometown was just given the dubious honor of being the second most miserable [yes, Forbes used that word] place to live in the US. The most miserable? Stockton, CA....

http://www.forbes.com/2009/02/06/mo...usiness-washington_0206_miserable_cities.html

Forbes used factors such as crime, corruption, tax rate, pollution, sports teams[?], and weather [????]...

Ironically that the likes of a Daley, Blago, and Granholm weren't enough to unseat good ole Memphis....

This will be exciting to our hockey fans -- the success of MI's pro teams was what propelled them [Flint and Detroit] to a respectable 6 and 7 in the miserable factor. Chicago, alas, is only 3rd.

Sooooo, this great news allows me bragging rights to one-up anybody who complains about their own city, at least until Forbes comes out with another list next year.

And, it is interesting -- government corruption and taxation - the two big factors in determining misery....from these first two weeks, it sounds as if we have a good long four years of just that coming up....:sad2:
