Hi everyone,
We have book our airfair and plan on traveling March 2 to the 8 with United airline. I am a little worried about us connecting through Washington Dulles airport. We have 1 hour in between connecting flight and it will be a domestic flight. My question to you is do we have enough time to make our connecting flight? Thank you for your wise advice

I've connected at Dulles a couple of times, it wasn't bad. If you are connecting to or from a regional jet, you do have to ride a bus but it was quick.

Will you have to clear customs? If so, that is cutting it very very close.

Hello from Montreal...

Since you are clearing US customs in Montreal, you should have enough time to connect at Dulles - I agree that 1 hour is not very long but it's fine for 99% of connecting flights. Enjoy and maybe I will see you there since we will also be 3 days at WDW during that period.

I learned something new today, thank you Yul. I had no idea you could clear customs in Montreal, I truly thought that you did that when you got to the US.
Have fun at WDW!!!

Thank you for your response. Yes , we will be crossing the boarder from Montreal . That way we will be avoiding customs. We are leaving from Burlington,Vermount. Last time we flew we had a connecting flight in Atlanta, we only had 45 minutes to connect. Let me tell you. We made it but our luggage did not. I just don't want a repeat of our last experience.:goodvibes

You clear customs in Canada from a number of Canadian cities.

OP - one hour is plenty of time for a connecting flight at IAD, especially if your flight arrives on time and you are sticking to one airline.

Thank you *lost in space*. It is reassuring to know that we will have plenty of time. I will try to relax and enjoy our vacation....
