Confused about the right resort for us, need help.

Hi everyone,
This is getting difficult. My DHB and I (it's just the 2 of us) have been to WDW several times, we are APholders. My DHB loves the PopCentury Resort and the real Disney atmosphere around it. Here in Europe we aren't quite used to people saying: hi, how are you, all the time. That's why we love PC, people are so friendly over there. For us that's a part of the Disney magic.
Last year we stayed a week at the AKL and we sure loved looking at the animals from our balcony and eating at Boma, our favourite restaurant. BUT we missed the Disney friendliness we experienced at PC. No more hi, how are you,people greeting in the elevators and even the CMs were less cooperative. It sure is a beautiful resort, but it could be in Europe, if you know what I mean.
Now we are planning a new trip and I was thinking about staying at the BeachClub or BCV, because I like the nautical theme. But my DHB wants, because it's going to be a very expensive trip anyway, to spend a few $$$ more and stay at GF.
Ofcourse that would be a dream coming true, but I am scared that we will miss the PopCentury/Value hotel atmosphere there that we both love very much. I mean there are a lot of fancy hotels around here in Europe, where we can stay if we want, we don't have to go to WDW for a deluxe room
So I am actually thinking of staying at AllStars Movies next trip.
My husband thinks I am crazy and maybe you are too
But what would you do if you were me?

Why don't you split your stay in two different hotels?? That way you will both have what you want!!! Me I would love to try GF, but for the 5 of us it's too expensive, so for now we go too POR (even that is expensive for us!!!).

How long will you be there? Perhaps you could split your trip up if you are coming for more than a week. I think that each resort has its own "magic" if you know what I mean. I have never stayed at the GF, but we have been there to dine. We thought it was beautiful, but reserved and very elegant. We loved the Beach Club when we visited! It is very laid back and fun, the location is awesome and the dining options are great too, but our first love is the Polynesian. It is a beautiful and relaxing resort. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.
You have a tough choice to make! I think if I was going to choose one of the value resorts, I would choose Pop, because it's newer, I have heard better things about the bus system and there are fewer large groups of students. Good luck!

We will be at WDW for about 10 to 12 nights....
And maybe we will split our stay, we have done that before.
But I am not sure about staying at PC again, we have been there a few times now and we love it over there, but it's nice to experience another resort I think.
And about POR, I really loved walking around there.
The landscaping is very nice and romantic, especially at night.
That's one thing that I like very much at the non-value resorts, you have room to breath some air after a busy day at the parks.
