confused about park hours, Can you help?

Hi, I am confused about the park hours can you help explain:

Daily Schedule for April 14, 2006

Magic Kingdom® Park
Park Hours: 8:00am - 12:00am
Epcot®
Park Hours: Future World: 9:00am - 7:00pm. World Showcase: 11:00am - 9:00pm
Disney-MGM Studios
Park Hours: 9:00am - 10:00pm
Disney's Animal Kingdom® Park
Park Hours: 8:00am - 8:00pm

then it says that its a morning emh for mk and mgm
and a night emh for mk

what does the emh mean for the parks, will they open at 7am instead of 8? and will mk stay open past 12 midnight? any help would be greatly appreciated

emh means Extra Magic Hours. So if you are hotel guest staying at one of the Walt Disney World properties then, you enter the park an extra hour earlier than normal guests or stay an extra 3 hours later. Great benefit for staying on site if you like the rides that will be open during EMH.

thanks for your reply, so does that mean that the MK will stay open until 3 am on the night of the 14th? that seems so late, or does it mean that it will close at 9pm for non resort guests and stay open until 12 for onsites?

You know I'm not sure.... It does seem kinda late but anything is possible. Maybe somebody here will know the answer.

Yes, if there is extra magic hours in the evening, they stay open past the posted closing time.

Yep tht makes it a three am closing! Yikes! I couldnt keep going until then if i tried!

Someone posted that during Christmas week MK closed at 1AM and had emh. The park was open until 4AM. The poster was there but said that they didn't stay till the very end.
