I am just wondering do you thing that congierge is worth it ? I mean you get the best rooms and free food and drink right - so does that mean for the days you stay you don't pay for food at the hotel there for saving or evening out moneywise ? if tha tis true then it is worth it and i should really check into it ..Thanks Michelle

We were lucky last time we went and got a free upgrade to Consierge at the Beach Club. I personally dont think it wold have been worth all the extra dollars they charge. We did save some on food though. We ate breakfast there for 5 of our 7 days. We got tired of cold breakfast with pastries and bagles and such. We ate out at a regular breakfast a couple times. My husband and I share our meals so eating out isnt so expenseive for us. I suppose if you ate more or had a larger family this perk would be worth a lot more to you.

At mid day they had a lot of what I call finger foods. More snack type than meal type. The consierge closed for a half hour a couple times a day so often we missed out since we wernt in the room when it was opened.

We only caught the dinner offering once. It was yummy!! It was also a finger food type fare I think chicken fingers and mini burritos and things like that. There was always a lot of yummy desserts at all times and wine. If you drink wine that could be worth more to you too since it was free. My husband and I maybe saved about $20 a day or less with breakfast and a little
snacking.

I know others love Consierge so much. We tried to use the people at the dest to make some reservations. They did get us into Coral Reef for dinner once and parasailing reservations. They seemed to treat us like we was bothinering them so we decided not to have them help us anymore. Im sure it was just a bad day or maybe they felt we didnt need them since it was a free upgrade? I dont know. Im glad I got to try it but I wouldnt ever pay extra money for it based on our experience.

One thing I did like a lot was in the afternoon/evening they came in and gave you clean towles again and spruced things up then put a chocolate on your pillow. It was nice to always have clean towles.

I have never stayed concierge, but have booked a Poly CLV this December. It will only be DH and me. I feel that the cost is not justified especially for two, but I want the experience! It will be our 25th wedding anniversary and I feel like splurging. I am looking forward to the view, location, a cup of coffee when I want it, and the convenience of just strolling into the lounge when we want to. If the lounge is crowded, this is okay. We sill just return to our room and come back later. The convenience of having grown kids! I love it!

Have fun...

Concierge is not all about the food (although it is a nice benefit). The breakfast spread is very nice (cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, pastries, juices, coffee) and usually does substitute for brekafast for us. However, the offerings during the rest of the day are more snack-like and don't really susbtitute for a whole meal. If someone wants to try to make a meal out of the food, more power to them, but since the food offerings don't change every day, this could get a little boring after awhile. All in all, it would be hard to eat enough to make up for the extra cost (and I would not recommend that one try).

In addition to the food, the main reason we stay concierge is the pampering. It is the pre-arrival trip planning assistance, the separate check-in, the extra help with issues as they arise during a trip, the lounge availability for snacks and drinks, etc. All these things together add up and make concierge "worth it" for us. But, to each his own . . .

I just checked the price difference and for our 2 night at the Wl now is 443 and congierge is 1048 .. not worth it for us this trip maybe some day it will be ... Thanks for your input . Michelle
