I notice from your signature that you've stayed MANY times at the GF, so I assume this isn't your first SL stay? Just curious if you've noticed an overall decrease in the decorum of the patrons or do you think it's an overall decrease in the lounge staff not enforcing the rules or a bit of both?
For example, last August I stayed at the CR/CL and rules were not enforced in the 8 days we were there. But, at WL last Christmas, a teenager tried to enter the lounge in his stocking feet and was immediately told by a lounge CM that shoes were required and he couldn't enter without them. I thanked the CM for enforcing the rules that make CL more enjoyable for all of us and she said she never hesitates to remind guests of the rules so that everyone can have a better CL experience. As a result, I personally found the WL lounge far more pleasant, neat and orderly than I found the Atrium Club.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that in my CL experiences, the guests are no different (good or bad) from lounge to lounge, but what doesn't remain a constant is the enforcement of existing rules. If lounge CMs choose for whatever reason to ignore the guests in bathing suits, robes, bare feet, unsupervised children using their fingers to serve themselves, etc... then perhaps we need to offer gentle reminders to the CMs of the "infractions" we witness. Maybe they think we don't notice these things or we don't care
