Yes, the YC's Deluxe rooms are actually Jr. Suites and are 645 Sq. Ft. Vs. 533 Sq. Ft. for a BC Deluxe room. And, a BC Deluxe room (they all have a lake view) is actually less than the BC (lake view) regular room. The fact that the Deluxe room isn't on the CL floor (5th) must have something to do with it.
Well at the Boardwalk Inn their Deluxe Rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors, with the Club Level lounge also located on the 4th floor. However their Deluxe Rooms are the same price so they don't take into account the cost for the ones located on the 3rd floor. Although those guests would only need to go up 1 floor when going to the lounge if they stayed on the 3rd floor, where as the Beach Club has Deluxe Rooms located on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.

I'm sure you'll love those 2 resorts. I considered a 1BR at Kindani for our family trip this August but couldn't get it with a discount which made it a LOT more than BWI CL. I've stayed AKL CL twice with DS & DD but DH has never been there. He said he had no desire to stay there (our entire family of 5 won't fit in on CL room there). I really think he would have loved it if he tried it. If we go next summer I'm thinking we should try a family suite at Animation Suites but I probably won't be able to get a discount and we'll probably be back to BWI CL.

The pricing on those TPV Poly CL rooms is crazy! Nearly $100 more per night than the deluxe BWI CL rooms and I think the service at BWI is better. Especially breakfast!

IKNWYM about those prices!

Despite the fact that I'll have to redo about half of our ADR's, I'm really excited about this trip. It's fun doing all the planning!

Thanks for your recommendation.

Will be sure to post about our stay.

A little disappointed with AKL IPO right now. Got all our requests into them before 180 days yet they couldn't get our fantamic lunch or dinner package. They said there may gave been some computer glitch yet disers reported being able to book for our date even after we were told there was nothing available. I really hope some more times open up and they can grab them. I know they are superhuman but one great advantage is not having to do the calling or clicking. It boggles my mind that 180 plus 10 (well more like 6) didn't work. I tried booking on my own but the website shows nothing available now.

I always ended up finding the ADR's that AKL IPP said didn't exist. Keep trying. Sometimes if you just add one to your party to see if they have availability may help. NOT to actually book it, but to give you a guide if they still have any availability. IF so, I find they change it up every few days. So really keep trying or ask them to keep trying if you are confident enough with them making your ADR's.

So I plan on booking the sunrise safari during our AKL CL stay. I have a Disney Visa which gets us 20% off tours. Does anyone know if this tour is included? If I have AKL IPO book this for me, will I be able to get the 20% off? Has anyone here booked it w/the DV discount?

HMMM... This got me thinking. I wonder if Wild Africa Trek would be included - or maybe it's not considered a tour? Do you know if you have to ask for the discount when booking, or is it automatically deducted?
TIA

Newbie to Club Level and am staying at BWI for the first time. I booked the room only ressie last night for 3 nights. What do I need to do now, if anything? Trip is at the end of July.
Thanks!

Pretty sure that one is not included with the discount, but it is a fab tour and you shouldn't miss it!

Well their lounge is located on the 4th floor, however unlike the other Deluxe Resorts it's not a 100% Club Level floor because they also have regular rooms up there. So once you get up to a door that says Innkeepers Club is where you insert your KTTW card to open it and to access the lounge and that's also where their Standard Club Level Rooms will be located. Besides that assuming you reserved their Deluxe Club Level Room they are located on the 3rd and 4th floors, so if you are on the 3rd floor then it's recommended you take a set of stairs to the 4th floor when going to the lounge. Now if you reserved their Garden Suites those are located outside, so you would need to take an elevator from there which goes up to the 4th floor and walk to the lounge.

Have you booked your ADRs? If not, you could contact them and ask them to do that. I prefer to do it myself, so didn't utilize that ipo service.

If you do not hear from them as you get closer to your trip (and there is nothing you would like them to help you with now) I would send them an email to let them know when you are arriving (day/time). When you arrive to BWI they will be expecting you and someone will escort you up to the club check-in desk.

Thank you! I'm not sure what we will do about ADRs. We have just decided to go and are going to take it easy vs. running around like chickens with our heads cut off. I'm also like you, I prefer to do that myself.
I will definitely email them closer to time.

I too am pretty sure no discounts available on this. I had both Disney Visa and AP the 2 times I did the Sunrise Safari.

So excited, just sent the email off to IPO with what we'd like for our 1st ever concierge stay in Oct:cool1: We're only in concierge for 3 nights before we change resorts, so we don't need a lot planned...Our 1st night, we either want to do the Wanyama Safari, if not then we do want dinner @ Jiko.
Next night we want a late dinner @ Sanaa, shouldn't be a problem.
Next day we want lunch @ Le Cellier, that may be trickier.
After that we'll be at a different resort and I'll handle the bookings from there.

Thanks! Just hope it's in the budget!

I found it odd that the IPO email came addressed to my fiance...IPO says call DVC, IPO can't change it (Of course, DVC says IPO could've changed it...Can we get organized people?)...It's puzzling to me, as the DVC member why they didn't have the trip in my name:scared1: I am the member, I paid for the membership, we're not even married yet, he doesn't care for the planning, etc.
The woman at DVC says, new computer system and they put the man's name first..Are you serious? How 1950's of them:sad2:
And she says make sure when I book trips from now on to tell them I am the member and the trip should be in my name...Huh?
Service has gone downhill:sad2:

As far as the GF, is there a reason why the RPC is more expensive thAn sugar loaf?
