As far as the GF, is there a reason why the RPC is more expensive thAn sugar loaf?
The only reason is that the RPC is located in the main building which is only for CL guests. Otherwise, the amenities, lounge offerings and rooms are identical (other than the suites which are located in the RPC).

The woman at DVC says, new computer system and they put the man's name first..Are you serious? How 1950's of them

:lmao::lmao:
I would have lost control. But that's just me. (I teach Senior English at a high school) and my students refer to my classroom as a "gynecocracy" :rotfl2: Yeah, I would have lost it....

I thought I read that SL didn't offer wine, while RPC did? Is that true?

I'm just debating whether to upgrade or not. I booked with the 35% code. Does that mean I'll have 35% off of the upgrade, too? (Meaning-does CL count for an upgrade?) I guess I'll just call! LOL!

Both SL and RPC have the same offerings. Many years ago, SL offered less, but that is no longer the case.

CL rooms are eligible for the 35% off discounts BUT only if there are any rooms left for that promotion.

I am so excited, we just booked a deluxe club level room at BWI for this July! I have never stayed club level before, I cannot wait to check it out. :goodvibes Any tips for the Innkeepers Club at the Boardwalk?

I'm sure CR Fan will be here soon to chime in with me on how FABULOUS these rooms are!!!

My family stayed in one in November and I couldn't believe how much room we had! We requested a room on the same floor as the lounge and our wish was granted.

The lounge staff is fabulous! (desk CM's are a little more reserved, but polite enough). There was always plenty of food and things constantly being replenished.

My only issue with BWI is sharing the bus with Swan and Dolphin (and occasionally YC and BC in off peak times). Plus, it is a VERY long walk from the elevators to the InnKeeper's area, in which you need your room key to even get into that area, then walk even more to get to the lounge. Luckily our room was across the hall from the lounge, which was great for pop in for snacks, but a long walk at the end of a busy day.

Monorail Bob's DD-You have picked the best resort on property....AND the deluxe room is the best:thumbsup2 The Boardwalk view is so peaceful early in the morning, in the evening, well all the time to me:cloud9: I know some people complain about the boat horns but to me that is part of the ambience, just like the big band and Sinatra music that plays on the Boardwalk, and in the hallways of the resort. I downloaded and listen to Big Band music just to take me there every day-sort of;) The extra space in the deluxe room is fantastic. The best part of the concierge.....the staff!!!! You are going to love them! They are so much fun and have become a part of our family. In fact we are trying to figure out if we can make next December work over Christmas so we can spend the holidays with our extended family. With DD in sports it is just hard. Can't miss practice you know. A short walk to EPCOT and you have even more dining options, boat or walk to the Studios. I just love the area. It is so convenient. You will have a great time.:goodvibes

Can you request water from the CL in order to fill your own containers before hitting the parks? We all have Hydroflasks (love them and heard about them first here on the DIS!) and typically we order a case of water from GG but I'm wondering if we'll be able to just fill up in the lounge??

Yes, you can fill-up your flasks in the lounge. Unfortunately, the CLs stopped offering small bottles of water to guests and instead have the large, glass bottles of water (Evian, I believe).

Monorail Bob's DD-I just realized I think we are going to be there about the same time too. Maybe we will get to say hi. We will be the family driving DH nuts because our daughter is bringing not just one but two friends this year. He is really outnumbered with me and 3 13 year old girls this trip.:lmao:

Ah, that's excellent to know. :thumbsup2 I was wondering the same, actually. Didn't want to appear cheeky and fill up our thermal bottles. :rolleyes1

CamsmomE: "Gynecocracy"? :lmao::lmao::lmao::worship:

Great, Thanks! Since we splurged on CL for the first time, was hoping to save on the water. :goodvibes

It's one of their SAT vocabulary words:
Definition of gynecocracy (noun)
form: gynecocracies
meaning female supremacy
(usually political)

Missoutandabout - From your ticker it looks like we'll be there at the same time - so I guess I won't be the only one in the lounge filling up my bottle!! :goodvibes

Sweet! :goodvibes So, we'll be able to recognize each other when we're both swiping those big bottles for our flasks. :thumbsup2 :laughing: Have you been doing your "No Hurricane" dance every morning? ;)

They know the score when they walk into your classroom -- excellent. :thumbsup2

That is just soooo cheeky:snooty:

:laughing: I sincerely promise to ask a CM first before engaging in aforementioned cheeky, water-swiping behaviour. (That kinda takes all the cheek out of it though.)

In other agua-related news, we're ordering a case from Costco for the non-fancy portion of the trip ("regular" BC room) :lmao: -- I'm pretty positive we'll blow through an entire case from when we get there on a Wednesday until we check into the Poly on the following Wednesday. We went through an entire case last year from Sunday through Thursday morning. :eek::eek:

Do you order from Costco and have it delivered straight to your room? I was just thinking, I have amazon prime-I wonder if I could ship a case of water directly to GF?

Ah yeah, I've got Amazon Prime too (isn't it worth its weight in gold?!). Only reason I went with Costco is because I could get a case much cheaper -- was less than $10 even with not being a member.

I ordered it about 4 days from our arrival and when we got to our room, it was waiting there on the dresser. Came in real, real handy. There's a link to the "Water Delivery FAQ" in the sticked "Delivery to your Resort" thread at the top of this forum for more details. :)

We are celebrating child bdays in disney and are staying CL at BC. We won't be able to get personalized special mini cakes at Norway on their bday, but I assume we can get them at the BC? Either delivered in the lounge or else our room? I emailed IPO but have not heard back yet, so I thought I'd post the quick question here for anyone who has experience with this. I'm also headed over to the cake chatter thread to sift thru that for some info. Thanks!
