Thanks again:) that sounds GREAT!! Especially after last years nightmare last day!!
DisneyMomx7, I see you are a fellow Jersey Girl like me;) Thanks again for the tips!
Laurie:goodvibes

What part of Jersey are you from? We're central NJ - between Princeton and Trenton.

I'm sure this question has been answered on this thread, but I'm going to ask again;) What is the difference between the Deluxe CL room at the BC and the standard CL room? I looked at the Disney website and see that there are several different catagories of CL at BC. I'm going to check out the YC/BC photo thread and see if I can find some pictures.

Thanks!

Thanks to all for answers about the uncrustables! I'm going to try to get him to try one tomorrow. As long as they have cucumbers and carrot sticks we should be good to go too.
Picky eaters are really a challenge (it's all a texture thing for him), and it gets really tricky when we're on vacation!

LaurieN - You should come over the BC/YC Info thread. There is tons of information on BC and BC CL there!

Hi,

I am new to this thread. Being a DVC member I have not stayed CL for a very long time and never GF RPC. We had some borrowed points that had to be used so I booked 3 nights RPC for our 30th anniversary.

I booked at about 4 months out and now am only 56 days out and have not yet been contacted by IPO. I suppose I should contact them, is email or phone the best? The only ADR I have my heart set on is V&A for our anniversary which falls on Labor Day.

The only other question I have is - we want to spend one afternoon laying around the courtyard pool. We are staying RPC, but would love to be able to pop into SL for refreshments. Can we do this? Also, is beer available by request anytime of the day?

Thanks for your help.........Laura

I just have to make note of how wonderfully accomodating the Polynesian IPO staff has been for us this upcoming visit. Really awesome. Always a reply within 24 hours. Help with even the most cumbersome requests (can you switch that ADR to this day, then that ADR to that day, plus add an ADR...etc.) They've come through quickly everytime.

I really feel like this is the best planned trip for us...everything we want, great times, so on. Could not have done it w/o them. So very nice.

We've stayed Poly CL a few times and service has been OK compared to BC and AKL. Although, last year IPO and lounge CM's were rather blah.
We nearly didn't stay at the Poly this year for that reason.

I'm so glad we are giving it another chance. The IPO staff is amazing!
10 days until we are there!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 We had the same experience with them on our trip back in May. They were wonderful!!! I was sure that everytime they saw my name they were rolling their eyes! I must have changed things 100 times!

Y'all have a great trip!!!

Since you're only 56 days out and want a hard-to-get ADR, I would give the IPO a call -- they should be there now. If you get voicemail, I'd leave a msg, include your reservation # and dates; then follow up immediately with an email. (email & phone #'s are in Post #1) I believe you will need to speak with the IPO anyway to book V&A - it requires a CC.

I can't answer the SL question with certainty, but I believe if you're RPC you can. Beer should be available on request most times (that's my experience - but at other CL's - I've never stayed Club Level at GF.)

Good luck and please post how the GF IPO did for you! :goodvibes

OK... so its 65 days out for AKL club level. can u give me advice as to checkin policies and such, just want to be prepared. we are drivin if that helps.:worship::worship:

We live in Ocean County and I commute to Newark. Thank goodness for mass transit!

Small world! My older ds commutes to Seton Hall Law School in Newark. You are so right - thank goodness for the train!!!! Luckily he'll graduate in May.

When you arrive at the guard shack, tell the guard you are checking-in to Jambo House, Club Level. He will give you a temporary parking pass. You will proceed to the front entrance and when Bell Services greets you, inform them you are checking-in Club Level. (you can have your luggage unloaded at this point.)

They should direct you inside to the Bell stand (on the left as you enter the lobby). Your Safari Welcome Packet should be there and a bellman will take you up to the 6th floor Lounge and introduce you to a CM who will get you checked in and answer all your questions. If your room isn't ready, bell services will store your luggage; you are free to relax in the Lounge or head to the parks!

Do NOT do online check-in when you're staying CL!! ;)

I would like the Concierge Staff to purchase some Disney Dollars, t-shirts and balloons for my kids so they are in the room upon our arrival. Will they do that for me? I don't want to offend anyone with what they may perceive as an outrageous request.

Thanks,

Earlier today we finally got an e-mail from the Boardwalk IPO department that welcome us, along with introrducing the names of the IPO Cast Members and asking us if we need anything. Anyway I noticed in the subject line of the e-mail it was sent from the Yacht & Beach Club Itinerary Planning, so is that what they do for all the Club Level guests at the Boardwalk?

I have visited over there but not posted. I will, I have a lot of question:) Thanks you!

In a million years he would never do it, he's lucky he can make the 30min ride he has now.

:confused3 One of my YC IPO emails came from someone in the BWI IPO!! I'm sure they assist each other, if they don't directly work together. About a year ago when I called AKL's IPO, someone from YC IPO answered!! She explained that the phones sometimes "rolled" when one IPO was especially busy. (at least I think that's what she said! :)) She did say they all help each other out when needed and she was quickly able to access my reservation and make the changes I requested! :thumbsup2

Today must be the day for BC/YC/BWI to send out emails regarding IPO services. I'm 42 days out from my arrival and just received an email. I did ask for a few things but it was nice to finally hear from them.
