My dd Ashli is really sick right now and she has me worried. She's been throwing up for a couple of days and keeping very little down. There is a bug going around here that has hit Ash especially hard (the kid that never, ever get sick!) I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for things that they can keep down when they are really sick? Water makes her sick and so do popcicles and I'm afraid Ashli will end up in the hospital with an IV if we can't find something to stay down today. Ashli says the popcicles are making her sick because they are too sweet so I thought about getting the pedilite (sp?) ones that I've heard about. I figured they probably don't have as much sugar and her stomach might be able to handle them better. Any suggestions of fluids or the like that work for you would be appreciated.

. I would try the semi-flat soda first. I don't know of any kid, mine included, that likes the pedilite stuff. I'd go with ginger ale because to me its not as sweet as coke. Have you tried a citrus ice pop? Maybe she wouldn't find those as sweet.
