Complicated question

Okay, right now I have already reserved a studio for December but I might change it to June. I have 160 total points and my uy is 10/05. How would I go about canceling my ressie for December and making a ressie for June '06 for a 2 br villa in either okw or ssr? I would have to borrow from my next year and rent a little bit of points. But is this possible?

Sure. Both the December 2005 and June 2006 trips fall within your 2005 use year (which runs from 10/1/2005 - 9/30/2006).

As long as you cancel the december trip more than 31 days in advance, the points just go right back into your account. Then you can use them to book the trip in June).

All you have to do to cancel the December trip is call MS and tell the CM that you want to cancel. Easy to do. No probelm. People do it all the time. It is a good idea to ask the MS CM for a status of your points after you cancel. The MS total/status shoudl agree with yours. If not, you can straighten it out right then.

If you need to rent a few points to finish your reservation for June, you'll have to have the rented points in your account before you can book.

Once you cancel a ressie, the points go back to the status they held before you made it. That means, you still have all of your 2005 points intact. You would call in July to reserve a SSR ressie (11 month mark) with your 2005 points and whatever you might need to borrow from your 10/06 use year. If you want a June '06 ressie at OKW, you would have to wait until November (7 month window) to make that ressie, but you would still use your '05 points plus any you would need to borrow from '06.

Will it be hard to get a 2 br at okw or should I just stay with ssr?

I don't think it will be hard at all to get a 2 bedroom at OKW for June. OKW has many 2 bedroom units and June isn't all that tough to get at the 7 month mark.
