You can walk to GF from MK. The monorail from MK has to go all the way around to get to GF so you are stopping at Contemporary and Poly before hitting GF.

7. Walk from BC to DHS then bus to GF.
8. Uber, taxi, or similar. (Note: Driving yourself can be cumbersome due to parking restrictions at GF that can vary by day or hour unpredictably.)

Skyliner to DHS then bus to GF.

Definitely if you're staying at BCV.

Trick question.

Minnie Vans are Disney transportation, but not free.
We have a group of 12 so I’m trying to avoid the minivans and Ubers since we would need more than one of them.

We’re definitely planning on using an Uber from beach club to blizzard Beach on the day that we go there so I don’t want to overdo the ride shares.
Thanks for the Skyliner suggestion. I added it to the poll

I had thought about your number five, but I don’t think there’s any way that’s faster with grandma in tow

I know you are going for free stuff, but at Disney, time is money - So I'm paying for an Uber to take me direct to GF. If nothing else let a few rideshare with Grandma so she's not traipsing all over the Disney Sea's to get to GF.

^This^ We underestimate how much walking and standing taking Disney transport can be, let the elderly/sore folks take a $10 uber (assuming you have a GF ADR). They'll be there in under 15 mins and go from air conditioned lobby to air conditioned lobby with barely any walking.

For the rest who don't want to pay for a rideshare either boat to DHS, bus to GF or bus to MK, boat to GF. (If you switch at DHS you don't have to clear security at MK fwiw. Also, I am not a fan of telling large groups to take unnecessary walks like walking from BC to DHS.)

Yeah, we will most likely end up doing this. We're doing a Blizzard Beach day the day we have an ADR at Park Fare to stay out of the parks for that day. I'm already planing to Uber everyone to and from Blizzard Beach and didn't want to pay for a third. Maybe I'll get everyone on Disney transportation to Blizzard Beach and then do the Ubers back from BB and to GF. It just starts to add up real fast when you need 2 cars for potentially 4 rides in a day.

It does add up fast, that’s why a couple of us suggested splitting the most vulnerable of the group (like grandma) away by the time dinner came around. (And if anyone gripes about grandma or a mom with blisters getting a ride- in a group of 12 they will undoubtedly get a quick life lesson in manners lol.)

And to combine a water park day with the ADR? Yeah- water parks are extra tiring due to the higher levels of dehydration. The more vulnerable will need easier transport to dinner if you don’t want to sabotage the next day.

I didn't answer your poll. Are you staying ar BCV? A very short walk to the skyliner. Avoids waiting for a bus or boat. Short walk from skyliner to bus area. My first choice.

MK can be a zoo. A bit of a walk from the bus area to the dock. The walk to the GF may be too long for Grandma.

You need to allow an hour, maybe a little more, if you're using free transportation.

You’ve got it. We’re staying at BC and doing blizzard beach that day with an ADR at GF.

Skyliner then bus to GF is the top plan unless we decide to Uber

I voted for the bus to MK, then monorail to GF because I was thinking for myself, who uses an ECV and I don't think there are ECV-accessible boats between the MK and GF at this time. If that's not an issue (no ECVs in your group), I'd go with the majority vote and choose the bus, then boat.

At least half the boats between MK and the MK resorts are HA.

Grandma doesn't have a scooter BUT guest with a scooter could easily scooter from the MK to the GF.
