Comfy shoes

My husband , my 11 month old are arriving May 6th...staying at the boardwalk. My past 2 trips I wore "Reef " flip flops. Can't believe I had no blisters and my feet felt fine, but they did. I put on my flipflops this week and wore them while walking around and they bothered me. I think it's because my feet have changed since I had my baby girl. She is my first baby. any suggestions on comfy shoes? Should I just wear sneakers...i feel as though i will be too hot. thanks!

Even though they are pretty ugly to me, I wore my mary jane Crocs on my trip. I wore a pair of normally comfortable Lands End shoes on the first day and my feet were throbbing at the end of the day. Didn't happen at all with the Crocs on.

I prefer flipflops (but mine are like heavy-duty, have some suppport and form.) Anyway, if blisters start, i keep band-aids with me and instead of putting the band-aid on my foot, i'll wrap it around my actual sandal so it stays put. hope this was helpful

Were you trying the same flip flops as you had before, or a new pair? My feet changed, too, and my old flip flops already had the foam worn in the wrong way. But new ones worked great since I could wear them in the way my feet were post pregnancy. I have lower back problems, and I find flip flops to be the most comfortable thing for all day at the park. They are cool, and they are molded perfectly to my feet. I love the FloJos flip flops. Not the old rubber things - the actual flip flops. Although with all the 80s stuff back in style, the criss cross rubber ones will probably be back too!

I bought New Balance sneakers, and although it was hot, they were pretty comfortable.
