Colored Contact Wearers? I know you're out there....

I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this before I spend some money on a visit to the eye doctor.
I'm looking to try colored contacts, in maybe a blue or green. I've been searching around online and I like what you can get through 1800contacts.com. Only problem is-you can only order like 6 boxes at a time! I only want one, three pairs is good just for me to try!
So I tried some other sites, looked at some other brands, and NONE of them will fit my eyes! I have a BC 8.7 and DIA 14.0-a lot of them don't come in this combo, or have a preset of ONLY BC 8.3 or DIA 14.5...1800contacts has the combo I need, but only in the acuvue 2, and only for 6 boxes!
I have looked in visiondirect.com, lens.com, etc...and I have found nothing that will work...Do I have any unsearched sites? Or do I need to go to my doctor? Is it even worth it to go to him, or do they only come in these presets?!

Fill out the information for a free pair trial certificate. Once you receive the certificate, go to your eye doctor. He'll have to prescribe and order the free pair, but this way you'll be able to try them out without having to purchase 6 pairs!

(Most of the other major contact lens manufacturers have the same kind of offer. )

are you worried about the actual contact or what you will look like with colored contacts?

Your doctor can give you any color of contacts to take home and sample, then you can order however many you need if you like them.

I was unaware of both of these things!!
I wear 1-2 week disposibles now, so I'm really just concerned with the colors...I'll definatly do the certificate thing and ask about other trials!
Thanks for your help! If anyone else has ideas, they are still welcome!
