I'm sure I have seen people on the busses, sitting down toward the front, holding a collapsed wheelchair, much the same as one holds a collapsed stroller.
I find AK very tiring to push a wheelchair along. It has many hills, and of course the uneven pavement is hard to push on. It must be very difficult for the person riding in the chair, especially if they have arthritis or some other pain issue. The bumps would jar the rider.
