Is it accurate that Starbucks doesn't open til 9 now in Downtown Disney? Where is there to get an iced americano when staying at GCH now? Planning to rope drop and usually always grab coffee & snack before. This is somewhat of a damper

According to the App, at least today, the hours are 9am - 9pm with no Mobile Order.

I would imagine that you get something similar at Park Side Market Coffee. Does GCH not have their own coffee shop?

Your best bet is to get it from inside of the park. The line will be long. The other option is to go completely out of the way to the coffee shop at the Disneyland hotel. The line will be long there, too.

You can go to quick service in the Grand and attempt to make your own. There are machines with nitro brew and maybe cappuccino. They didn't have a proper espresso when I was there a while back.

When you get your post stay survey, be sure to mention the inconvenience. It's ludicrous that the Grand Californian doesn't have a barista.

Darn, that stinks about no espresso based drinks at GCH Craftsman (I keep calling it White Water Snacks in my head). I love starting each morning with a vanilla latte at my local coffee shop (not Starbucks!), and it's not exactly a luxury when we're already paying big bucks to stay at GCH.

I think GCH used to give free drip coffee at Hearthstone or White Water Snacks back in the day. So many nice things have been cut.

Fee drip coffee? That’s so Chapek…

Yes, my Mom and I stayed for our first time in 2010. I think they had a pillow menu (let me know if I'm crazy- there were options for different pillows, I think!) and free drip coffee in the morning. We only stayed for 1 night due to a good promo.

My second time staying was in December 2021 for my honeymoon, so I'm still a newbie when it comes to staying at GCH! Long-time fan but rarely a guest. We are going back in 9 days though- woohoo!

Maybe not a favorite option, especially if you want creamers, etc, but the Grand rooms do have a Keurig in them. I'm also coming at the end of the week, and I'm bringing my Kcups with me.

Assuming Craftsman Grill does not serve americanos...

The Coffee House at Disneyland Hotel. It sells americanos.
The old Sip and Sonder in DTD (n/k/a Parskide Coffee?). It sells americanos.

Otherwise, the Blossom Cafe at the Westin has good coffee. You will have to check the menu for the possibility of americanos. It is about 1 mile from the GCH. I believe there are 2 Starbucks (if you need that brand of coffee) on Katella Avenue. They are probably about 2 miles or less from the GCH.

Uber eats, DoorDash or Starbucks app for delivery? Brave new world.
