Hey, let's get back to happy posts about Happy Hour, we've had enough "rules" threads lately!

So exactly, what are those dates you'll be there in October. We will be there October 21- November 2. We'll be in the 1700 loop, just across the road. A group of at least 5 campsites all from Wisconsin.

My goal - to line up 9 other people to host happy hour while I am there so I only do it one night.

Ok whats your dates in October? We are going the last week in October.
And I we would be all about having a happy hour!!! Sounds like so much Fun!! I already have the recipe for Kungaloosh in the 5th wheel. I might have to try that before I get there !

I'm missing you all by a few days! Darn! Will be on the road on the 12th and at FW on April 15th-18th...then to Fort de Soto for 6 days and back to FW on April 24th-26th. DH wanted to break up the trip and be able to have them say "Welcome Home" twice!
We requested the 800 loop (first time in this loop) so anyone else there during those times are also invited to have a cool one! We have a new outdoor light (shhhh...it's a secret!) that DH is proud of.
Has anyone stayed at Fort de Soto before?

Beer: 30....This is what I like. Sharing a good beverage with some friends. Don't forget we have a post about our July 4th trip, where we will be hosting and toasting on the 4th. We will also be in FW in October and December as well. Maybe we need to make monthly cocktail hour threads????

We'll be there June 29th-July 8th. Looking for free drinks lol. Just kidding. I'm looking forward to a first 4th of July trip. Been 9 other times now and gave up the Pepsi 400 to do this. Oh well racing ain't what it used to be so who cares right. I'll take the fort over just about anything.

Stack - now that's saying something..! I turned down tix to Bristol this weekend for next week at FW...

Anyway, now looking at adding a week in late June, early July to turn our annual 2-weeks in Myrtle to a 3-week trip with a week at FW. Might have to give up the beer though in order to save $$$...

Disneydad when they make the cars look like (well,,,,,,, what do those things look like?) I just lost interest. I will always remember the 3 and that's about it. I like Jr. and Stewart but I remember the days watching races as a kid when it was a real sport. I can't handle these guys who cry every week about who bumped into them and whaaaaa whaaaaa whaaaaa. You get my point. It's just no fun and gotten more expensive. Hope you get your fort time.

Great, just great. Everybody is hosting a happy hour the week after us - maybe we will have the place to ourselves..? Kajun - I'll be looking for that Abita Turbodog..!

I'll have to pick some up for you... We'll be bringing purple haze for my DH, I don't like grape beer myself..lol
Red stripe is more my thing .........which has me wondering can we have bottle beer? I'll have to check on that

I wanted to tell Colsten39 that we're going to attempt to make some Mickey ears too. It sounds easy enough..we'll see ??

Making a monthly "Roll Call" would be fun...I guess that makes this one the April Happy Hour Roll Call that doesn't sound very good we've got to come up with a better name ??

Hey Disney Dad in Oh, What day are you leaving???, We leave on friday, From Morrow, and arrive at the Fort on Sunday 4/1... DH, DS(12) DD(10) Heidi and DixieGSP'S will be in the Cruiser fiver with the big red ford. Stop by and say hi!

Every year since #3 left us, we have had less and less interest in Nascar. This COT is really depressing....

Trying to watch the Busch race but would rather be at FW happy hour. Next week we'll be there!

We just left the fort yesterday and I wish we could've stayed longer. My dd just called and said she wants to go back before our June trip. I told her if we went that much it wouldn't be as special and we would lose interest eventually.

I am ready, willing and able to host an October Fest happy hour at FW. As I said earlier, I will be there 17-27 October and would like to know who among those going in October would like to come. So, I am gathering screen names of those interested in coming and dates they will be at FW so that I can organize this. So line up, post your dates and let's make this happen.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I see how u guys are. Plan a big party before I arrive. I have ressies June 29- July 8th so I'll have a party too. Maybe even block off the whole 900 loop if I get my way. Just kidding. I know I would like to meet more of you that love the fort as well.

Sorry, but Florida residents have no excuse for not coming to the first FW October Fest happy hour. I see no good reason for not making a special trip down (or up, depending on your location) to FW for this event, unless of course there is a hurricane. I would expect to see you at the Kiwi with a Kungaloosh in hand.
