Coach USA shuttle from Sanford?

O.K., so I think I understand that MEARS does not service Sanford airport but a service called Coach USA does.-

Has anyone used them?
Are they as horrible as I am hearing MEARS is?

or-

Am I confused and is MEARS just a general name used for any shuttle/ bus service?

Mears is the name of a company, not a generic name. We have never flown into Sanford, but if I'm not mistaken several charter flights fly into that airport.

We took Mears from MCO to WDW on our first few trips to WDW. We then found out about the Town Car services and have taken them ever since. As you know the Town Car service is more expensive for one or two people than the shuttle services.

Mears has Town Cars, limos, buses and vans. The main problems with the vans and buses would be the extra time it takes for loading the buses and stopping at several hotels to leave the customers at their destinations. When they pick you up it may be earlier than a Town Car because of all the stops the bus has to make.

I would guess that Coach USA may be a bus service. I would phone them and ask about the schedules. We found the Mears buses and vans to be dependable, but time consuming.

If I'm not mistaken many of the charter flights from the UK fly into Sanford. You might go to the DIS-UK forums and ask about the transportation form Sanford to WDW.

Coach USA is a charter bus service. I have charter thier bus for Girl Scout trips and they were great.

The Coach USA is a shared ride service, similar to the Mears Shuttle. They use motorcoaches, and vans.

FYI, due to a restructuring of the Coach USA conglomerate, it's now "American Coach Lines" down here in Orlando. Same thing, just a new name.

If you don't want wait for buses to be loaded (which can take a long time), and then they can stop at many hotels before they get to yours... that could take hours. You can reserve a town car, they will meet you with a sign with your name, help you with luggage and immediatly get you on your way to your hotel. I really feel a town car company is the way to go.

i made the ressie online and the problem started there, they give you options for your hotel, we were at riverside and the only option was french quarters, i picked it and then called to be sure before we left, told him again when we arrived and of course he took us to the wrong hotel, then we were waiting for him on the ride back to the airport and he went to that wrong hotel again,,,just made our flight,
