I'm trying to do a little research, and I know that a lot of CMs are on this forum. What I am looking for is both the official and practical OHRC at each of the attractions.

Thanks.

Why is the word "Operation" necessary?

THRC = Theoretical Hourly Ride Capacity

One is what you measure; one is what can supposedly happen under perfect conditions. "Utilization" is the percentage of OHRC in comparison to THRC.

Universe of Energy is THRC is 1716. That's the only one I remember off the top of my head, because it's such a bizarre and unique number.

Like what is the real guest per hour vs the what it should be :rotfl: much simpler terms.. I use to know the HM, but for the life of me, I cannot remember now.. I want to say 1000 per hour???? or 10,000... cannot remember.... lol

Attraction capacities are considered company proprietary/confidential information. A reminder to the cast members reading and thinking about responding, releasing company information in an open venue such as this one could subject you to disciplinary action not excluding termination. Be careful.

Exactly what I was thinking as I read this thread!

My apologies. Since I found a few randomly around the web, and since anyone with a stopwatch could easily calculate this, I didn't realize it was proprietary.

In light of this I would request that a moderator please close this thread before someone gets in trouble.

Oh, don't listen to him - that's just a scare tactic.

Attraction capacities are not "proprietary information" - they're publicly available information relating to fire safety of the buildings. So, nice try thre - but no.

Actual attendance numbers are things the company doesn't like to share, but the theorhetical numbers are limits imposed by safety standards that are publicly accessible.

If you, me, and the fire marshal want to sit down and hash that out - we can.

The OP isn't asking for the theoretical number, which anybody could calculate (see mbritt00's support for the theoretical hourly capacity of RnR, below - simple math). He's asking for the actual numbers.

I can see where that'd be proprietary information that shouldn't be shared as a matter of policy. He could try contacting Disney for the numbers.

I curious why the OP wants to know?

I'd guess they are trying to figure out realistic percentages of the capacity that could be set aside for FP and X-Pass and how that number might relate to the number of on-site and off-site guests.

Not sure how accurate the numbers are, but The Unofficial Guide lists most of that in a roundabout way: "average wait per 100 people ahead of you"

If, indeed, the numbers are a matter of public record, then the OP can likely find them online in much more reliable places than a Disney fan BB. For those not easily available online, a note / call to Disney should get the OP what they need. I would think it would be far easier to write to Disney and ask and get everything at once with knowledge that it's from the source. If it's for a school project or something similar, I can't imagine why they wouldn't provide them. If, indeed, they are not proprietary.

I think the problem with asking CMs is that many line cast who may know something like the capacity numbers of their attraction may not realize what info is able to be shared and what isn't. Which is why Disney tends to put a lid on CMs sharing anything about the rides they operate. Particularly without knowing how it's to be used. "I'm doing a little research ..." doesn't really give any CM enough info to know if they can / should share or not.
