So I noticed that a lot of people put in the videos (even those that didn't make the final cut) and tout that they have great knowledge of Disney and the Disney parks, etc..... it got me to thinking. Perhaps we should have some more fun and have a trivia challenge. Anyone?

Yep, that's the basic scenario. We got an email today with some questions to answer and some photos that we need to submit so that they can keep our pages fresh and interesting. Be sure to keep checking so you can see the updates!

And for the record, it is AWESOME that CareerBuilder.com and Disney are handling the websites. As a very technologically challenged member of the group, the help is incredibly appreciated! (I don't think I could have pulled off the banners, links, etc. that Kenny created for himself last year!)

Thanks for the award! As I was finishing it up this morning the postal delivery lady was driving by and she stopped and got her cell phone out and snapped a photo. We are on a dead end, so not much passers by, I'll send it to the newspaper and people in town will usually tell me they enjoy stuff like that.

There was actually a second phone call about 10 days ago to go over dates and eligibility. When I saw the 407 area code on the phone, I thought it might be "the call." But... alas, it was just someone setting up a phone appointment for yet another call later in the day.

One of the reasons I had my hopes up a little is that nobody else mentioned the extra call on the message boards. But everyone else was probably thinking what I was thinking: Why would they call all 20 people when they certainly have it narrowed down a bit? I was hoping it was just a crossing of the T's before I got my package in the mail! (I don't want to spoil the ending for you... but I was wrong!) I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want anyone else to be disappointed if they didn't get the same call. Who knows, the rules allowed for a "tiebreaking call." So maybe I was tied and I lost. (I think its more likely that they called everyone... maybe you other folks who got cut can shed more light.)

So, for the other Top 20ers and current Top 10ers......did you get a "before the final decision" phone call like Fleagle did? If so, were they just basically verifying info? For those who got that call, did you also think it was a formality and that you would be getting a "package" in the mail too?

Eric, seriously, you're amazing!!

Kenny, I love the Donald. Even if I had the snow, I couldn't create anything that looked that good. My family won't let me sculpt the clay in Cranium.

I got one of those phone calls too, last week. They called it a "screening," and they verified that we would adhere to contest rules and the "Disney Look." I also had to answer a multiple choice question--I guess we all did that? It was stressful, because I had a hard time rating most of the answers in order of importance.

(Justin, you definitely get the gold star for answering in one sentence. I was going to just write my "objective" post and think about my "one sentence," and instead it all just came right out of me in one long post. bear hug for you!!)

Yeah, I also got a call on Tuesday before the big reveal. Like Fleagle, I was thinking that the call was a good sign. The person I talked to went over the Disney look- no tatoos, no piercings, no facial hair (except a moustache), hair cut above the ears... the last two were things I would have to work on. She was very nice and told me to relax until Friday (the day the package would or would not come in the mail). I was thankful for that and I took her advice. And I'm still "relaxing"- not sitting at my computer 24/7 getting finger cramps. Though I am throwing some votes to my fellow DISers. And I'm throwing some votes to Fleagle on his site (great site!), it's like voting for Huckabee.

What a great time we had last night!!!!! An amazing hotel room!!!! Oooohs and Aaaaahs all around!!!

We were able to take pictures, but no video...boo hoo.

Any suggestions on how I can show the pictures? I could post them one by one with a caption, but there are 25 or 30...yikes. On the other hand, it would probably be like showing home movies....yawn city, so maybe I will sit down tonight and pick the best pics and post them here.

We heard some interesting tidbits from the CM conceirge who works the late shift for the guests who stay over....wow! This is Disney and unfortunately I cannot repeat most of this on the boards...let's just say, when a guest is taking a bath and needs more ummmm shampoo, some do not hesitate to call the CM to take care of that problem ...my DS14 was laughing hysterically at this...

Aww DisneyDD2, I loved you video. I thought it was very professional and funny and you seemed extremely comfortable talking and being in front of the camera. I thought you were also a shoe in. I am still wondering what they asked in that phone interview.

And HMF, I am in for some trivia, I said in my video that I know a lot about the Disney theme parks and I didn't lie...maybe we can test the top ten candidates and see how well they could really help someone in the parks!

If you wanted to, you could create a mini-Trip Report in the DL trip report section and just post away. if you do this, send us a link. This way you can easily post all the pictures and write up something for some/all of them.

You could add them to your website or photobucket account and give us access.

Or simply post them here (unless we just want to keep this thread on-topic with CMO stuff).

He started melting so fast that my idea of painting him was becoming a mess quickly, so I had to just take the photos before I was totally finished. His hat was becoming his head and and his shirt was becoming pants (which we all know Donald doesn't have an affinity towards!) I couldn't get more snow either.
