When will we know what rides are closed for refurb in October? I hope it's one that we wouldn't ride anyway. Anyone know?

This site and the official Disney site posts refurbishment schedules out by month, but Oct. may not be out yet.

Unfortunately you won't know for sure until less than two months out. I think they do their best not to have several "major" attractions down at the same time. A few years ago, my family went to DL and Splash, Space and Thunder Mtns were all down while we were there (various reasons). I was so bummed at first, but it turned out that my kids didn't even notice, and we all had a blast.

Surely they won't close Haunted Mansion during October. :sad2: We didn't get to ride Space Mountain or Tower of Terror last time b/c DD had a broken arm with pins and we were afraid that they might be too rough for her. So we will be bummed if those three were to close. However, when we were last there, Small World was closed but it was only a small setback and we hardly noticed.

They could end up closing any attraction during October. It isn't a peak season month, so anything could be scheduled for rehab then. Please don't hinge your enjoyment of your vacation on any few set of attractions. There are so many wonderful options at WDW, that a few closed for rehab shouldn't affect much.

My kids were bummed to find out that PoC is closed when we go in June! I was surprised they would close it during peak summer season. I know it's to coincide with the movie premiere but I was still surprised!

We're not, there's too many other things to do. This will just be our last time for a while so we'd like to get in as much as we can while we're there. There are a couple though that if they are closed, it will be a short downer.
