So title co says they sent to Disney and that Disney accepted the wire of funds (estoppel and dues) The fact that MA has no phone number is frustrating.
We had Fidelity National Title for our first AUL resale and were not impressed with their communications and responsiveness. As an example, it took 5 weeks from them receiving our closing docs until the closing date. We didn't have an international seller or a delayed closing.Fidelity National Title. I AM LIVID
Yeah never again. I used to be anti TRCS since they took a long time for me. But now i appreciate them holding back funds and processing things correctlyWe had Fidelity National Title for our first AUL resale and were not impressed with their communications and responsiveness. On our most recent AUL we used TRCS, Inc, thanks to some postings from @Jimmy Geppetto and a few others. They were less expensive and even with a 2 week delay, due to DVC needing additional paperwork from the seller, the process from offer to closing was faster.

They have been helpful in asking a supervisor to talk to MA. But MA will not talk to me directly.Hopefully things start moving quickly. Is there any way to get a MS person to transfer you to someone in MA?
At least you finally know the reason. Still, it's so bad! From the threads, recently, from closing to contract showing should not take more than 3 weeks (typically 2-3 weeks), and then no more than 2 weeks (typically 1-2 weeks) to see points even for new members. They have been helpful in asking a supervisor to talk to MA. Has the broker forgot to sent to ROFR? That took sooo long. Recent records range from 17 day to 28 day. Yours was terribleSent to ROFR: 11/20/2024
Passed ROFR: 1/10/2025
Man I had my timeline so similar to yours same deed recorded date and nothing yet. Ugh.I opted for a phone call to best personalize things. Was about a fifteen minute hold before I got connected.
There was a reservation out there that I was really hoping to land six months out. Very kind individual I spoke with. Chatted for a couple minutes about the situation, put me on hold for 5-10, then poof…. There they were.
That's indeed a kind MS member! Congrats!Contract Showing on Membership (new member): 2/22/2025
Points in account: 2/23/2025 (phone call with kind MS member
Fidelity, Cammy Smith, title folks, Disney all a pleasure to work with.

Disney needed additional documentation from the seller. It appeared to be someone's estate selling the points which may have led to missed documentation or perhaps the need for some additional proof of agency. The broker was pretty good about keeping us updated.Has the broker forgot to sent to ROFR? That took sooo long. Recent records range from 17 day to 28 day. Yours was terrible
Every Seller is different. In past sales, I've had my notarized Deed already sitting at Escrow when the ROFR came thru - so if the Buyer wired funds quickly, it closed quickly at least. Although I would not ask an Escrow to prepare all the documents upfront for an iffy-ROFR but for a resort where ROFR is not active, as a Seller I ask for the documents early as a courtesy to keeping things moving for the Buyer. I know how hard it is waiting for those points (although I promise you'll forget it was hard the first time you check-in to your resort and see your name on the TV lol).... Yes US sellers can drag their feet too, but I think it's less likely and they definetely at least have a choice of a speedier closing.

Patience, Grasshopper lol. Sometimes it is helpful to ask if the Seller is International or handling the affairs of a deceased... if timing is critical on the points access.I am going insane waiting to see when my seller decides to notarize![]()
Hi, a naive question as notary is something new to me: how did TRCS instruct regarding notary for buyers? and were you able to use virtual notary? We did a virtual notary when we used TRCS for Aul. Very easy.. almost too easy TBHHi, a naive question as notary is something new to me: how did TRCS instruct regarding notary for buyers? and were you able to use virtual notary? Thanks
