Our current ressie is booked on our 2010 borrowed points, of which we are 2 shy of having the whole stay because this year, our traditional vacation dates include a Friday AND Saturday night. Normally, we could book the same dates (borrowed or not) for almost half the points. Most years, we end up banking points, it's just that we used more than we normally do this year.

We've only ever exchanged points once before (a transfer out), and we don't anticipate a need to do so again, unless somebody wanted to do a point trade in exchange for the 2 we're asking about here.

could someone book a room for you for one night and then you do the same for them later or book room for a night and you transfer the pts back when you can. There are lots of cheap points for sale on board. don't know what the one night requires but you may could buy it cheap

Thanks for the idea. We tried the first, but didn't get any interest in a ressie trade. The second one gets a little more complicated since people are sometimes skeptical (and rightfully so) of "we'll pay you back later" transfers.

What do you think everybody? Should I just give up? I've had four different people indicate they would be more than willing to transfer me points, but for various and sundry reasons, I am still looking for those elusive 2 points.

I suppose it won't hurt to keep bumping up through the end of the month just in case somebody finds out a waitlist didn't come through or somebody rents 56 out of 58 points and they want to get rid of those last two.

So, until the next time I fall off the first page...bump!
