How can I get a bounce back offer? Last September I stayed on cash Free Dining promo and never got a bounce back offer :(
Don't forget to check the Be Our Guest Guide. They are in the welcome packet you get at check-in. The BBs are surreptitiously tucked in the middle of them or you can just call as dansdad suggested:thumbsup2

The (2013) BB looked like this:

Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me an estimate of how long it takes to take the boat from WL to MK in June, including wait time for boat? Also, what is the latest time you can take the boat back to WL from MK? Is the boat back on the last trip a long wait with a lot of people trying to go back at end of night?

Does anyone have an estimate of how long it takes to get from WL to parking lot? Also, is the parking lot close to WL or closer to VWL?

Just trying to manage schedule so can be at rope drop on time.

Thanks. ;)
I know that PamelaKay answered your question, but HERE are more boat and bus transportation times, thanks to GrandCalifornian.

Once again KOOK, you are the Johnny-On-the-Spot News Anchor for all things Disney:thumbsup2

Stay tuned to this channel....showtimes may vary popcorn::

You know how I just love that nickname, Heather:worship: and since you suggested staying tuned to this channel, there may be some breaking news from JotS…..

Due to an upcoming JotS birthday that would have had DH confused and flustered about what to do:faint:, I made a helpful suggestion that a Spring Break trip might just be the perfect present AND we could also kill two birthdays with one trip by also celebrating DH's:idea:.

You know how I love a good discount so I'm very excited to report that even though much of our April dates are blacked-out, I was able to book a couple of nights at 40% off (4/12-14) and the rest (4/14-19) at 20% off with the SoG overflow rate. I couldn't believe it when the SoG CM actually said that I could book WL-CL:hyper:. In the past, they have always said NO CL room bookings. This holds great promise for booking CL again at Christmas;)

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

My sister and her family will soon be headed to WL after our rave reviews form the holidays they had to go as well. Thanks again Kook for the advice here n this thread...I know it made our trip even more magical.

Sorry guys but I decided to change our res back to the Contemporary. I am so indecisive and started second guessing my decision.

That's awesome!!! How were you able to get the 40% discount and the 20% discount? And last question... What is SoG? Thanks!

Kook - Can you add me for these dates

March 14-22
October 30 -November 8

So glad to be going home!

Thank you. This is perfect, just what I needed. ;)

Hey everyone this is my first visit to this thread. We have stayed at port orleans the last 2 visits and decided to try this resort out. We are REALLY looking forward to it and have booked our trip starting on Nov 30th through Dec 6th.

Any tips for requests? Staying with our 4 year old and our soon to be 10 year old. We have never been there at Christmas we typically come over Halloween. I was thinking the upper floors are harder to come by, is it possible to request a higher up room prior to arrival?

We also typically get free dining or room discount during our time frame, does that ever happen here? If not we are fine, but I was just curious.

Thanks for any tips, we are VERY excited.

We will be there almost the same dates in oct/nov! Are you thinking you'll catch both parties??

We have done the Halloween party on Halloween for the past 2 years. We were going the week of Halloween and then leaving the weekend just after. This year with Halloween on Friday, we didn't want to do MNSSHP on Friday and then have to leave Saturday so we moved our week out.

We really hope to get MNSSHP on Halloween and then stay for the first MVMCP. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We have already started working on our costumes.

That is great news about your April trip, KOOK! I am already looking forward to your trip report. :)
Last night I found out that the 5th member of our group bought his ticket through a 3rd party seller and that it is actually a voucher that he will trade in for a ticket when he arrives. Of course I panicked and had one of those talk me off the ledge moments because I was afraid I couldn't do our FP+ reservations at 60 days. From a response in another thread, it looks like he will be able to add our FP+ times to his account when he gets there and gets his ticket, through a "copy" function on MDX. Not entirely worry-free at this point, but less anxious. Anyone have experience with this?
One reason I have always loved going to WDW has been that we are so comfortable there and, over the years, developed our routines that avoided most of the huge lines. I haven't done this much pre-trip planning in a long time! Guess it's good for these old brain cells. :)
They are calling for more snow here. It's so hard to believe when today's high will be in the 50's, but it's happened before.
Happy Disney dreaming everyone!

I do have a bit of experience with the copy function and I am sorry to say, it is not all that great.

We went last fall and 2 of us had annual passes and one in our party had to upgrade a single day ticket to a 7 day ticket when we got there. I had your concerns, so I called the FP+ line (it was late in the test phase) and they told me it would be no problem to go ahead and make our reservations for 2 and that when we got there we could use the copy function and get our same times. What they FAILED to mention was that the copy function will only give him our times IF they are still available. Because of the bad info and the fact that we were staying club level at the BWI, management was able to get us all but 2 of the times and for those 2, they gave him a paper fast pass. They did indicate that going forward, this would not be done and that copy would really only work if the times were available.

I promise I am not trying to cause you angst, but want you to be prepared if you need an alternate plan. The 2 fast passes we were not able to get were of course Toy Story Mania and we had one for fireworks viewing at Epcot.

Well that's a fine idea....I'm surprised you didn't think of it sooner. Glad you were able to finagle - I mean plan ;)- another Disney trip. What a great way to celebrate your 35th birthday :teeth:

Not a bad choice....we love the CR. This is what's great about Disney.....sooooo many choices! :thumbsup2

That sounds like a great plan! That is what we are hoping as well. DD3 told me today that she wants to be Elsa for Halloween... I'm hoping that we'll be able to find her a dress by then - everywhere is OUT of them! As for DH and I... who knows what we will do... he's a hard one to convince to dress up... we'll see!

We'll be headed to The Villas the beginning of May!! :cool1: First stayed at the Lodge for our Honeymoon and it's always been our favorite resort on property. This will be the first time taking our DD there and we hope she loves it as much as we do :goodvibes

Trying to keep a finger on the pulse of the refurb that we heard might/should be happening soon too.

So we have a party of 7 going, and I was curious what the difference is between the villas and the resort in terms of comfort etc..

is it nicer? The same? we are booked for the resort now but debating on the villas.

Not sure what you have booked, but you'll probably have mo space plus a kitchen staying in the villas. We just stayed in a 2 BR capacity for 5 (but sleeping linens arrangements for 4) and then switched to a deluxe CL room at the Lodge which slept 6. The lodge room was soooo much smaller and we were all on top of one another. For a large party, I'd recommend the villas.

we currently have 2 woods view rooms at the resort. The kitchen sounds interesting, I may need to look into this more.
