Giving up wine?? Yikes!! :faint: I usually have to build my resistance up before I go so I don't get tipsy on the first drink, haha.

Don't worry about too much cobbler, is there such a thing. You will do lots of walking so it makes up for it. :thumbsup2

In case anyone needs a cobbler fix...

:goodvibes

Would love to see some more WL CL food pics if anyone has some new ones to share! I definitely think it will help everyone staying there get a little bit more excited about our upcoming trips!! Thanks!!!!! :)

Awesome!! The more, the better! Would love to know if anything on the menus have changed! I loved looking at all of Kooks pics at the beginning of this thread! Just makes you feel like you're already there!! Hope you have a great time!!!!! 8)

If the Promo is still active and there are upgraded rooms available you'll get it. If the promo is expired or no rooms left in the promo you're out of luck.

Now I know typically the promo ends before checking, for example, the summer promo right now booking ends June 6th but the promo goes through August so if we went in August we wouldn't get it because the promo had ended correct?

"Build my resistance up..." This program sounds like one I should be implementing - and soon!

Your trip will be here before you know it! :cheer2:
I can't believe we'll be back in less than a month:hyper:

So excited to return to WL..and thanks to the free dining we are staying in a 1 bedroom villa!! Dates are 10-26 to 11-1 we are doing mnsshp on 10-30..will the WL have any trick or treating?? Or maybe the haunted carriage rides at FW??
Last week I came across a CR/BLT activity calendar for Halloween and they had ToT and costume contests listed. Most of the Halloween-themed activities were from 4-7.

Awesome, needed that cobbler fix cuteasminnie

The Paella was new in August and very tasty:

They had new beverage dispensers in December:

I can't believe you'll finally be at the OFC in less then 2 weeks! I can't recall if you've stayed at WL non-CL? The Lodge is very photogenic and so serene in the early morning:cloud9:. I can't wait for you to get there!

What kind of coffee do they have for the in room coffee maker. Also do they still serve that yucky brown water in RF or have they upgraded?

I have been checking almost daily for a long time for YC availability, but they've been completely booked. Today, CL rooms opened up and at the Military rate so I quickly changed BWI to YC-CL for the first 3 nights before WL:yay:

THANK YOU, CuteAsMinnie for the wonderful tribute to our Veterans whom we can't thank enough:worship:

I believe they've switched over to the Joffrey's from the Cuisinart.

Kook, I must ask, why do you prefer YC over BWI? Or is this your first time there?

DH n I are deciding IF we do a split stay next trip, where would the first leg be (and that's a pretty big IF). I was kinda thinking BWI ...

Heather, I can NEVER have enough pics from you!! 12 days :cool1: AWESOME!!! Are you doing FWC first?? :goodvibes

Oooo split-stay decision! What fun!

I've stayed at both BWI-CL and YC-CL, (we have no desire to stay at BC). We didn't like BWI's CL, but we do like the location so I had booked a non-CL room there for a few nights before our 8-night WL stay. It's nice doing an Epcot Resort/WL split.

BWI rooms are currently undergoing a rehab until Sep. The rooms haven't been rehabbed since '09 and they are showing their age. I was concerned about getting an un-rehabbed room and/or hearing the rehab which involves removal of all the bathtubs. Also, we much prefer YC's nautical theming over BWI's theming, which is similar to GF.

I prefer that BWI doesn't share any amenities such as the gym, pool and buses with another resort as do YC/BC. But, I was concerned about getting an un-rehabbed room and possibly being disturbed by the construction. We also prefer booking CL, but after trying BWI's CL back in 2012 and not liking it, we booked without. I liked YC's CL more than BWI's, but nothing compares with WL. The Regatta Club's lounge is small and has no views, but DH has never stayed at YC so this will be a new experience for him. He was in AFG when DD and I stayed there back in 2010.

Let us know what split you decide on. Splits are lots of fun!

You know Yacht Club is my second favorite! Good you are going now, I think they are rehabbing in 2015. Although I thought the rooms look amazing. :lovestruc

And that the spa at YC/BC was just rehabbed and is very nice. And Hurricane Hannahs.

Love that you will be doing an Epcot resort also. We love it over there.

Did you make a fast past + for the Seven Dwarfs ride?

I love a RC!!!!!:beach: Congrats!!!

How'd I know you'd fully support this resort change?. On behalf of Heather, yes, she is staying in a FWC cabin first. Then, she's throwing the kids and luggage onto the boat while she heads down the path from FW to WL with her camera. I suspect she'll be checking in to the OFC promptly at 0630 when the first pot of coffee is brewing...

Here's to Mouse and all our beloved vets who may be gone, but will never be forgotten.

Heather LOVES taking lots of photos so you will be in OFC photo heaven when she posts her TR:cloud9:

I knew you would approve, too:hug:. I know that YC is your F&W home. I have several 7DMT FP+s. I made them the day they came open. It's so exciting having a brand new ride to experience. It seems we've all been anticipating the opening for so long and here it is on Wednesday! Hope Heather and anyone else going soon will report back to us:listen:

How was your DLR trip?
