Hey Lesa...it's good to hear from you. How exciting for Brittany. My neighbors little girl was out of town for a competition this weekend too. It sounds like they did very well...plus they had a good time. I'm sorry to hear that you and Maddie are sitll not feeling well. DS has been fighting a sinus infection too. I think we have it cleared up after two rounds of antibiotics. I hope you and Maddie are on the mend soon. Maybe try some of Maddie's albuterol for that cough! I've done that before and it actually works pretty well. Take care. :flower3:

Lesa- I hope you and Maddie feel better soon! Congrats to Britt!!! How exciting! You're right, it does seem very overwhelming! I'm glad now that I'm in the gift shop and not the parks.

YM- I was off on Saturday, but went to the mall. The only parks I've been to are Epcot and MK. Tomorrow me and some of my roomies might go to AK.

Hey guys! I just wanted to pop in quick and say "Hi"! Just haven't felt too good lately.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, and I'll catch up more later....

Hi! I just wanted to let you all know I'm still alive....
Hi Lesa!! It is SO GOOD to see you!!

It's been pretty crazy around here. I've been nasty sick with an awful cough that if I talk or get to over heated I start with a coughing fit that triggers my gag reflex (I keep it at that ;) ). Now it's moved into my chest so I'm heading back to the Dr today. Madison is still wheezing and it hasn't got any better. She has a nasty sinus infection in all her sinuses that is keeping her wheezing. She is on very strong antibiotics and steroids. The poor kid takes about 10 pills a day and 4 of them are giant horse pills (she doesn't do liquids). She swallows them like a trooper. The Dr is seeing her once a week to monitor her. The only thing keeping her out of the hospital is the fact her oxygen levels are still good.
I am very sorry that you guys have been sick!! Lots of people around here have had the same crud!! I sincerely hope you and Madison begin feeling better soon!!

We were in Madison Wisconsin for the weekend for Britt's competition.:cheer2: She had a great time in the hotel with all her friends. She really got to know the girls from her squad.
Sounds a lot like Colton & Chase's swim meets. They get in the hotel and have fun! The last time we were in Oklahoma City, there was a big cheerleading competition going on so there were lots of cheerleaders at our hotel too!!

Sunday morning was competition time. All the girls met in the coaches room to get makeup (lots of glitter  ) and hair bow (big hair bows  ). Then over to the competition site. Competitive cheer is a big difference from a city league starting with the ticket prices to get in ($10 a person :scared1: ). It is much more fast paced with incredible stunts. Our girls did a fab job! I wasn't sure they could pull it off because at the practice the night before they weren't so hot on their stunts. But they did a great job! We had to sit through another 3 1/2 hrs of teams when they were done. As the teams went up in levels the stunts were just incredible!!!! Our girls took 5th place out of 8 teams which is just incredible because they are just a winter team and the other teams were year round. So what they were able to pull off in that short time was again incredible. They were a bit bummed about 5th place until we reminded them of that. The other thing that is different with competitive over city league is there were no tears! :rolleyes1
sounds like they did a FANTASTIC job!! Congrats!!!

Anyway, if anyone wants to see pictures pm me and I'll send you the link when I have time to load them. If I can figure it out I'll also have the video.
PM sent...

once again.....it is very good to see you Lesa!!

I spent the morning doing my taxes and now it's lunchtime, but I just wanted to pop in and tell you guys a quick story. I hadn't really talked to my parents since we all got back from our vacations, until this morning. My mom said the weather was lousy for their cruise and there wasn't much to do, and they had a pretty awful time. She said, and I quote, "Next time we'll just go to Disney with you, it's a lot more fun. When are you going again? In the fall this year?" I told her probably not until next year, and she kind of hung her head and said, "oh. Not even if there's free dining again?"

Looks like their conversion is complete. Now on to Phase II - convincing them to buy into DVC!

I'm such a dope -- I went home during my lunch break and took my shoes off, but the floor was cold so I slipped my Crocs on. I just now took a break at work and realized my shoes were not making noise when I walked, so I looked down and yep, still wearing my Mickey Crocs!

I guess dopiness must run in my family -- my mom just texted me "I hate texting." I have no idea what that was about.

Hi, everyone!!:wave2:

I just wanted to pop in and say hello!!

Lesa:: Sounds like Britt's team did a great job this weekend!! I'll send you a PM in a sec!!
I hope you get better soon!! Your symptoms sound like the time I was diagnosed with bronchial pneumonia. You had better get back to the dr.!!

YM:: Hey, have fun in the closet!!!

Linda:: I hope you get to feeling better soon!!

lyzziesmom:: Sounds like you have successfully completed Phase I of your evil plan!! You go girl!!!:woohoo:

Not much going on here today. I just noticed Nathan brought home a note that syas he has BB practice tonight at 6. It's a good thing I go through his backpack every night.:rolleyes1

hey guy and gals!!!

wow, that weekend went by too quickly!! The weather was delightful today----too bad I had to work and didn't see it until after 3pm, but whatcha gonna do??

Nicole----you look great in your outfit!!! I'm sure you are doing wonderfully!! Don't be nervous about the register----you'll get the hang of it. I bet it was fun being in PO (FQ??) for Mardi Gras-----we had a blast last year when we stayed there. Yep, Michele was the trivia pro!!!:lmao:
Hopefully the roomate thing will balance out and everyone will get used to each others' personalities, etc.

Miss Lesa-----wow, you were one sick puppy, huh?? Take care of yourself!!! Hope Maddie gets to feeling better too.
Congrats to Britt----sounds like she had a great time.

Lyzziesmom----Welcome Home!!! I swear GF has a cs place------I think it is (or at least used to be) out the back door by the Cafe and to the left. I'm sure Lyzzie was a big help on the trip.

YM----:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: a 'lil dance for your chattiness.:lmao:

Pozey---great pics of the kids!!! Courtney is too cute----always smiling.

Donna---now I'm hungry for tacos.:lmao:
I was thinking the same thing about last year this time------I was out to dinner with my mom and dad on Saturday and said that we were at 'Ohana.:lmao:

Michele----ahhh, stone massage!! :cloud9:
I'm glad you were able to go due to the snow.

Shannon----any word from Ashley??

Linda---feel better guuurl!!!

Hi to DznyFan, Lin, Jill, Maureen, Amber and anyone else!!!!:grouphug:

Well, it looks like the annual family trip to WDW in October is on.:lmao: :lmao: My dad asked if anyone was going soon, so my mom confronted me about going again in October. It will be myself, mom, dad, sis, BIL, and kids. We, of course, are staying at WL. We are going to get a 2br villa and one room in the big lodge---(I called that one;) :rotfl:-----so we will have plenty of room.

Well I have finally caught up with you chatty's. It sounds like everyone is coming down with something. Knock on wood we havent caught any colds or bugs in a very long time.

Nicole: you look like a cast member, very friendly and bubbly. I hope everything goes smoothly with your roommates. It can take adjusting but in the end it can be alot of fun.

Lyzziesmom: I order from the kids menu too. GF does have cs (at least it was) 1900 Park Fare. Its tucked away, when you walk into the main entrance you'll have to walk directly to your left. Dont ask me how to find the grocery store where we live but anything in Disney Im on top of it. I remember going to it, Mary Poppins was there I thought that was great bc you dont see her much.

2X: That is great that you are going on a Disney trip with everyone this fall. Let the planning fun begin. Nick wants to stay at WL next (we may go for my bday in march fingers crossed)

Ashley have you arrived yet? It has been so warm here for Feb but I am sure you will enjoy the change.

Michelle: A stone massage sounds heavenly!:cloud9: a relaxing weekend is so wonderful

:cloud9: Pozey: looks like you guys took full advantage of the great weather. Glad Courtney is feeling better.

I had to give a lecture in my class today and it went very well. My teacher was impressed that I was able to get everyone involved and keep their intrest with what could be a boring topic.

Come visit me!!!!

YAY!!! :cheer2:

Pozey- Great pics!

Well, the issue was resolved, the one girl said she didn't do it. :confused3 I'm in a 3 br with 5 other people. Sometimes I think I should have picked a 2 br, but for the most part my roomies are pretty good, I hope it continues.

Today was my first day of work at POR. I really enjoyed it! For a few hours I was a greeter, handing people Mardi Gras beads and talking to them. Then I did Magical Moments, which I loved! I asked people Disney trivia and gave them a certificate! Tomorrow is my first day on the register! I'm kind of nervous!

How exciting for you!! That sounds like a great job. You'll do fine on the register. I always liked cashiering ( is that a real word?)
I guess it sounds like the issue in your apartment worked out.:confused3 Good luck!!

Over all I have to say out of all the years Britt has cheered and competition I have never seen such a smile and look of great accomplishment from Britt. She truly enjoyed herself! She enjoyed herself so much that on the way home she announced she didn't want to go out for high school cheer, she wanted to continue on with competitive year round. :headache: :headache: :headache: I really need my smilie with the money flying out the window...cha ching!

Anyway, if anyone wants to see pictures pm me and I'll send you the link when I have time to load them. If I can figure it out I'll also have the video.

So glad to 'see' you again. Britt was so cute when she texted me yesterday.:cheer2: It sounds like the girls did great!! All-star cheer is a lot different than school cheering. I'm glad Britt has found her place.

That stinks that you have been so sick:sick: Poor baby!! Take it easy!!

Evening everyone.

Nicole, I'm so glad you enjoyed your first real day. Before you know it it will be home.

Lesa and Linda, good to hear from you lovely ladies! We miss you around here!

Lesa, glad Britt enjoyed her cheer competition!

2x, thats awesome that you get to go to WDW in October! Lucky ducky!

My co-worker, Alesha, is going to WDW over spring break with their 4 year old. I want to go SO bad! She hasn't ever been to WDW and they have no idea what they are getting into...I think I need to be their guide. They are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Well, I have to write a paper and finish a lesson plan. It looks like its going to be a late night for me, and all I want to do right now is go to bed.

Happy Tuesday, everyone!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this Fat Tuesday??

2x2s:: Yippee-yi-oooo!! You're on for October!! Isn't planning a trip the most fun ever!! WL will be perfect. I noticed you'll be in the main lodge by yourself. You may be able to rent that room at a profit by the end of your trip.;)

Nicole:: I'm anxious to hear how your Monday at work went. I trained cashiers for over 20 years, and the first thing I always stressed was to relax and feel free to ask questions!! I agree...by this time next week all of this will be a breeze!!!:thumbsup2

PP:: That's terrific that you were able to give an interesting lecture!:thumbsup2 Refresh my memory; are you going into the field of pediatric nursing?

Lin:: I think you would definitely be the person to accompany your friend and her family to WDW!! I hope they have a great time!!

Michele:: Do you think we would fit in 2x2s's suitcase?? It's worth a try!! :dance3: :woohoo: :cool1:

Well, I had better get breakfast served up. I don't want my pals to starve.:sad2:

OH,L@@K!! They're saving our table for us at Kona!!:woohoo:
