Driving to FL from Delaware on I-95 - I need a clean hotel room in Georgia - any suggestions?

I personallly like the MicroTel chain. We stayed at the one in Brunswick, GA and had no problems.

There are a ton of hotels at the Savannah exits. Everythng from the Marriot to Econolodge.

We've stayed at the Quality Inn and Fairfield Inn by Marriot off of the Savannah exit. We also stayed at the Microtel off of the Brunswick exit. By far the Fairfield in was the dirtiest out of all three. The Microtel in Brunswick was the cleaniest. Also, the St. Simon's island was only about 20 minutes from the hotel so we were able to visit the beach that evening before heading to Disney the next day.

We stayed at the Days Inn in Port Wentworth. It was very, very clean. The breakfast was fine. We paid $71 complete per night. We stayed there both there and back.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on our way back in early April. We had 2 suites, each suite has King sized beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The stay included breakfast, but we were leaving before breakfast was served. Got the rooms for $50 on Priceline.

We've always had good luck with La Quinta. There's one near Savannah. I'm sorry, I don't recall the exit number.

There are a lot of good exits as soon as you get over the Goergia line traveling I 95. This may help with your decision.........its a Rt 95 exit guide.

Just pick what you are looking for...... lodging, restaurants, rest areas etc. , and what state you want.
I also second the 104 exit in Savanna (Pooler). Lots of eats, and nice safe hotels. Also, easy on/off.
We are overnighting in the Springhill Suites by Marriott, exit 104. Grabbed a 2 queen room with sofabed suite for $79.00 night. Free breakfast, indoor pool with a hot tub.

We like exit 94 We've stayed in the Hampton Inn and the Spring hill suites. Never paid over $100 for either of them booking directly through the hotel. There is a few restaurants within walking distance from the hotels and a mall a few minute drive from there.
