We will be at WDW in December with the kids and in-laws. Thinking of getting the in-laws tickets for Cirque as part of their Christmas gift.

Is the show worth it? Will two 60 somethings enjoy it? How far in advance do I have to buy tickets? How much do tickets cost?

We have seen two Cirque shows--Mystere in Vegas and Drallion in NJ. Both were breathtaking and worth every cent. They generally run about $80 per adult, not sure exactly how much La Nouba is at WDW. I remember that my in-laws were skeptical about the $80 price in Vegas, but afterward said that you could see every cent on stage. Live music and singers, so much to look at you can't believe it.

Friends of ours saw La Nouba last year and said it was the best Cirque yet. They have convinced us to see it next trip.

I saw La Nouba last week. While the show itself is enjoyable and many of the acts were outstanding, I, personally, don't agree with everyone that says it's worth the money. I would rather find other ways to spend the $245 the tickets for my family cost.

I found many moments of the show to be lacking (transition times) and never did really figure out what the "storyline" was supposed to be. I figured there must be a storyline as the "cleaning woman" seemed to be present to pull parts of the show together leading up to her frog kissing. Can anyone enlighten me?

Now, after saying all that (I thought you might need to hear a different point of view).....this just might make a nice gift. We saw people of all ages really enjoy themselves at the show and it is probably not something that they would think to do themselves.

If you decide to do it, buy the tickets as soon as you can decide on a night. The sooner you buy, the better. Best seats are on the upper level toward the middle....but I doubt any seat is bad.

We are fifty-ish went last year for the first time. For this year it was the one must do thing on our list. It was great and well worth the money. DH wouldn't quit talking about it. Think price is around 75.00, but if you have an AP you can get 25% off.

I have not seen it in person but will be when we arrive in the "World" on June 27th, 2003. Really looking forward to it as well. I have several relatives and friends who have seen it in person and all they do is rave about it.

By the way, you can see Cirque du Soleil on Cable TV. If you get the BRAVO channel, they have been playing back to back shows at night all this week.. It's a good way to get psyched up for it in person.

The tickets can be purchased on their web-site. Not sure what it is but if you type in "Cirque du Soleil" in a search engine, you are bound to find it.

I believe www.ticketmania.com might also sell the tickets but don't quote me on that.

There are two categories for tickets and the on-line brokers only sell the category B tickets. Category A is a few doolars more and will put you in the center of the house. From what I'm told though, there really is not a bad seat in the house.

We've seen a number of Cirque shows including La Nouba and they are all well worth the money IMHO. I would think that older folks will love it.

Well, Cirque may be out for my in-laws. We will be there 12/4-12/13 and Cirque is not playing 12/7-12/15. So, basically there are only 2 nights they could go--Friday and Saturday. Friday is my birthday and Saturday is the only night that MK is open late.

Performances are held from Tuesday through Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

There are no performances on Sundays and Mondays.

La Nouba will not perform on the following dates in 2003:
