Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

CM told me this morning that PSB breakfast has a 48 hour cancellation policy. Anybody know 24 or 48? :confused3

You know I think it is 48 hour notice for CRT and PSB - sorry I typed that out wrong in my earlier post when I said 24 hour notice.

I need help from experienced callers. I wanted to "practice" calling tonight, (make sure I had the number right, etc.) And when it answered, I had to press "1", and then it asked me to press another number, and then put in my home phone number. Did this happen because I was calling at night, or is this also going to happen when I try calling at 7 am on the appointed day. Last time I did this (a long time ago), we called the number, talked really fast and hoped to get the ressie. Will it ask us for all those numbers this time? HELP!!!!

It always asks me for the numbers. I might be wrong, but good luck!

If you REALLY follow the directions, that will be what will happen everytime you call. Just press 1 after the second prompt, I'm pretty sure that by-passes all the other questions. So you'll get the "open" message, press 1, then press 1 again. Good luck.

So...should I just keep pressing "1" until someone talks to me? :rotfl2: Thanks for your help!!!!

Don't keep pressing it endlessly...I did that one time and it kicked me over to somewhere else! I don't remember now why I pressed it several times...it was last year.

I don't see anything when I click on the tips in the first post. Are directions listed somewhere else? Thanks I start calling tomorrow! :teeth:

I get a blank screen also when I click the "tips" link. Where did you finally find the tips?

TIA!

Look on page 112 of this thread, post number 1672. It walks you through the process step by step. It worked for me. I got the day and time I wanted. :Pinkbounc

yes, follow the directions exactly as they are on page 112. I did this morning and got an 8:15 reservation!!!!! Thank-you very much everyone. They picked up the phone at 6:59:12 according to the atomic clock. Also she said it was a 24 hour cancellation. Thanks again everyone! We are starting our vacation with Cinderella! :Pinkbounc

Disneycrazymom....I'm curious....when are you going to Disney? We are going the week of April 25th and Cindy's was booked for the week (I called 2 weeks ago)....boy am I bummed out about not getting a ressie for Cindy's, but the CM told me to try calling the week before we go and up to the day we leave and even while at Disney because of the 24 hour cancellation policy...people will tend to
cancel when the time gets closer.

We will arrive on June 4 and our Cindy's breakfast is June 5 at 8:15. The key is to call exactly 90 days ahead and to call each day of your trip until you get a reservation. Many plan the whole schedule around when they can get into Cindy's. Take the CM's advise and keep checking as people do cancel. I hope you get in! :teeth:

I would have called 90 days out, but we just decided to go to Disney about 3 weeks ago, which was less then 90 days out.

I'll try calling tomorrow morning again and will keep trying until we go.

I have no idea if there's any truth to this or not . . . but it worked for me :teeth:

We'll be at WDW from 5/22 through 5/28. I started calling for CRT right at our 90 mark - DH & I did everything we were supposed to do (w/ 3 phones going we started calling at 6:50 am). Anyway, during the middle of the week we were calling, we were unable to get through. And I was so worried . . .

Saturday morning, DH was at work, so I had to call by myself. Started calling right at 6:50 am, & got through w/ less hold time than any other day of the week. So, now we have our CRT PS for Friday, 5/27!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I was so excited - the CM probably thought I was crazy.

The next morning, Sunday, I got up & called to make a PS for Chef Mickey's. Started calling right at 7:00 am & maybe held 30 seconds.

My theory is that more people are calling M-F perhaps because more people want to "sleep in" on Sat & Sun or they don't know that the Disney Dining line is open on Sat or Sun.

Anyway, if all else fails, calling on Sat or Sun may work better for you! That's just an idea! :earsgirl:

Aghhh, I reread my chapter on reservations for Cindy's, read this thread, practiced typing in the phone number, had two phones going and began before 7;00 and still didnt get a reservation!!!
I cant believe it!!

Just had to vent. Thanks :flower:

Just wanted to let everyone know NOT to give up even when the message comes on that Cinderella's Breakfast is most likely sold out for the day. This morning I was connected at 6:59:30 (atomic clock) but was on hold until 7:19. During that time music played and then the message at about 7:15. I figured I had nothing to loose by staying on and I would just ask and then book something else. Well much to my surprise (and the CM too) I got a table for 8 at 10:25. So don't give up stay on hold. :teeth:

You shouldn't have had to put your phone number in if you pressed 1,1 - that is the quickest way to get through. Make sure you begin before 7 EST - I'd start at 6:55 EST and keep hitting redial. After you get the open speech listen carefully and as soon as you hear the voice start to say "If you are calling to make a PS for Victoria and Alberts press 2" immediately press 1,1 and that should put you on hold right away. Don't give up keep trying.

I hung up after the message!! I should have stayed on.

Thanks for the tips and encouragement.

Do I have to listen to the whole message or when can I push 1?

I am trying again. Wish me luck!!

Kris

As "Disneyglobegirl" said in her post, as soon as you start to hear the message say "If you are calling to make a reservation for Victoria &
Albert's........." press the 1, 1. So, as soon as you hear "If you are calling, press the 1,1.
Good Luck, and I'll be sending pixie dust your way............ :wave2:
