We are going to Disney in September and I am making ADR's tonight. If the Princess Breakfast is booked I was thinking about Cinderella's Galla Feast. Is it good? My DD(3) LOVES the Princess' so we MUST do somethign that includes them on our trip. :) Also, is the Princess storybook dining good for little ones for lunch and dinner? I was browsing the menu and other than breakfast it doesn't seem like something my kids will eat. Do they have other choices for little ones?

TIA!
Sue

I have been twice now and love it. The last time I dressed DD as Jasmine and Ds as Peter Pan and they had a blast! The food is very good love the mixed sweet and regular mashed potatoes!

Do you get to take pictures and all that with Cinderella? And do any other Princess' show up?

Thanks!

1900 PF for dinner is the best! The buffet and elegant victorian decor is beautiful. Cinderellla , the Prince and the mice are the characters that mingle with you during your dinner.

Fairy Godmother is usually in the lobby for photos and autographs.

The food is delicious and there is a big variety of things to choose from. Ideal for picky eaters.

Little girls were in heaven when we went last time. We older girls(HA!) really enjoyed meeting Prince Charming.

Cinderella Gala Feast is a nice character dinner. It's got the characters from the Cinderella movie and other princesses do NOT appear.

The food is very good.

We had a great time there.

PSB at Epcot we've also done many times. My family prefers breakfast to lunch/dinner due to the food. We usually eat breakfast there but switched to lunch last year to try and see Ariel. She is usually there for lunch/Dinner and Belle in her YELLOW gown is usually there for breakfast; at least that is how it was in the beginning but many have reported seeing Belle at dinner.

PSB is great for seeing many princesses. Cinderella's Gala Feast is great if you love Cinderella and good food.

1900 Park Fare is a wonderful restaurant- we have only been there for breakfast, so I can't tell you about the dinner. We did the Princess Storybook Lunch in Epcot and had a wonderful time! The menu is unique, but my kids ate everything and the cold buffet has turkey, ham and bread so they were happy with sandwiches, too. We went in January and saw Ariel in her ballgown, Belle in her blue dress, Jasmine, Mulan and Aurora. It was our first day in the parks and my kids were mesmerized by the princesses! I really recommend it! We will go back and we are going to try Cinderella's Gala Feast next time, too!

We did both meals last week. Of the 2, I much preferred the Princess Storybook Lunch at Akershus to Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare. When planning the trip, I expected my reaction to be the opposite.

the Gala Feast was much noisier and my dislike of buffets came out again... that does need to taken into consideration :rolleyes1 The character interaction was very good, my DD5 was concerned about meeting Prince Charming, but he did a great job of chatting quietly with her and winning her over. The mice were cute and came back to our table 2 or 3 times, we saw Prince Charming and Cinderella once each, Fairy Godmother was in the lobby.

Akershus was a zoo to get into, there is this enormous hot, hungry, tired of waiting outside in the sun mob of people and strollers at the entrance. Once they called our name, we quickly got to meet Ariel and then were seated. The noise level was much lower than at 1900 Park Fare, we had a better server and it was a much more relaxing meal. We had been through the cold buffet when the other 4 princesses (Belle in blue dress, Mulan, Jasmine, and Aurora) came around. It was nice that we were able to meet them all before our hot food came. I'm sure this was dumb luck (Pixie dust? pixiedust: ) on our part but it worked well. We all enjoyed our food - the kids meals are traditional favorites, DD7 had grilled chicken and buttered pasta (instead of mashed potatoes), DD5 had the pasta and meatballs with marinara. Both girls ate well. I had the leek soup and open faced salmon sandwich, DH had the kjottkake (salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and veggies).

I choose this meal because the prince was there it was a way to keep DS happy. I don't think he would be so thrilled with an all princess meal.

Thanks! This has helped a lot. Knowing that they have more traditional food there that my kids will eat is good to know. I am going to book tonight! I think I am going to shoot for both places though now that I've seen all these posts! ;) My DD will be in HEAVEN if she gets to meet Cinderella along with other Princess'. This trip is all about the kids....... :thumbsup2

:thanks: Thank you EVERYONE for you input. It has helped a lot in my decision - book BOTH places! It's all about the kids for this trip....I REALLY want to make it EXTRA special. ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

We found the interaction at Cinderella's Gala Feast to be great and the food was good, I especially enjoyed the Strawberry Soup but I was the only one in the family who liked it. If you look at my avatar, you will see a picture of my DW with Cinderella from that dinner.

Thanks!! I made my ADR's tonight and I booked them both. :) We are doing the Princess Story book breakfast and Cinderellas for dinner. :) I can't WAIT!
