Great pictures! Speaking of the heat in the parade, I was talking to a friend of mine who's a cast member along with her sister. Her sister participates in the parades, and my friend was telling me that while Disney can do a little with the heat when the characters go out for signings (i.e. stand out for 20 minutes instead of 40), there is obviously nothing that can be done for the parades, and they are just brutal for the characters participating in them.

first.....some added thoughts!

These kids were sitting beside us and when these guys came along before the parade they were having a BLAST with the bubbles!!

the guy with the bubbles was so good with the kids. when the little boy kept asking him if he could have the bubble gun he finally said, "well, let me see your license. don't you know you have to have a license in the state of florida to operate a bubble gun? if you don't have a license and i let you have it, i'll get in trouble!" such a great way to handle that! THEN he said something like, "it looks like you guys are under the water in the ocean!" and he started singing.....I WANNA BE WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE......I WANNA SEE, WANNA SEE 'EM DANCIN!!!! when he got to the part where she says, "what's a fire and why does it -- what's the word????" he paused for a second and then belted out, "BURNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!" he was hilarious!

when mr. incredible first rose out of the float i thought he was fake. he didn't move AT ALL!!!! then all of the sudden he started dancing and i figured out he was real. totally fooled me! and his little tower looked like it could topple over at any minute.

i wanted to add in my video. i taped the entire parade because ray's never seen it. i agree that it was AWESOME!!! i can't wait to see it again. we were right in front of those trampolines and it was a cool location - we got to see some talented performers! enjoy the videos!!!! (click to play)

Erica, where do you get your smiley face guys? You have the best ones! I download my pictures on a program called Picasa. It's a free program and I know that you can share on the the internet, I just don't know how to download them onto the Dis. I'm sure you could figure it out.

No but it had a cave you went through that had a bear in it. At the beginning the bear had a strobe light on it, then the light went away, then the bear went away

They put the bear back in and then took it out again and I can't remember if it ever went back. But I LOVED that ride and would stand in line for HOURS to ride it.

Nothing better on a hot sunny day....getting drenched on the Grizzly and then heading to the state fair area and riding the swings!

Wow you really got some great pictures of the Block Party Bash! We didn't catch it during our trip unfortunately, although I have seen it at Disneyland - I think it's basically the same show. SO colorful!
