christmas parade, trying to decide

If you go to MK on 12/3 and are not one of the extras for the parade, can you get close enough to regis to take a picture. I am not looking to talk to him or get an autograph, just want to get a picture of him to bring home, you know just walk by and snap a picture. Also if this is possible, where do they normally sit for the parade?

Regis and Kelly will be set up in Town Square by the Flag Pole (or where the flag pole should be...they have asked for it to be removed for the filming...this is also the reason why the christmas tree is in the Rose Garden for the time being). If they are there you will be able to see them without being an extra. I say "if" because, in the past, they have been known to film their portion after the parade has been filmed and then it gets all spliced together.

Two years ago. we were across the street from them while they were talking to the audience and got a pretty good shot of them.
