Nov 30 is the day for acts taping in front of the Castle. The buses will get you there on-time. I was prepared to have to get a cab, but the buses were up and running very early.I also scored early this morning with an "event registration" for Friday, Nov 30th. The paperwork says Regis and Kelly will not be taping on this day, but on Saturday, Dec 1st.
But not sure whether I have secured a place for the parade taping or the Castle taping. Either way, I will be there at 8AM with bells on, providing Disney Bus transportation does not let me down!
27 Days and Counting!!!!!!!!
Me too!!! I couldn't get that tune out of my head for months...now, you've got it back in there!!!we were there the same day and time... I don't think we made it 3 hours though... I can still hear the Brian Setzer singing "Jingle Bells" jingle jingle jingle over and over and overnever again
No seats...you have to stand. That's why my poor old body didn't make it to noon...had to get out of there by 11:15. My back was killing me. All those people, standing there, trying to jockey for a better, closer position. I actually overhead one mother say to a gentleman that she really should be able to move up closer because she had kids with her, and he didn't!!! Yep, very nice, holiday atmosphere.Does anyone know if they have chairs in front of the castle stage or do people just sit on the floor while waiting. Anyone that has done this please give us all the info. Just came back from MK and went to Guest Services and they said that there's no definite list on who's coming. They told me to check back a week before to make sure.
I believe they are gone at this point. I found the registration on the AP site. The DVC group may also have had it offered...don't remember because I wasn't looking for it. The parade day goes really fast, within hours. Friday's taping spots take a day or so to get spoken for.Does anyone have any info on getting the passes for the taping yet?
TIA
I've read this whole thread and am somewhat worried now..........We arrive on the 29th (thankfully) and should have half a day at Magic Kingdom, which is where DD will want to go first.
My concern is that it may also be the park of choice for Friday and Saturday......and I don't want to be dealing with those crowds. Just getting through Main Street sounds like it could take looooooooong, and pushing a double stroller through the stores, does not sound like much fun.
Can anybody recommend a day that would be less crowded? Either Friday or Saturday? And do we have to wake the kids up early those days to even get in???
I know some of you are excited, but I am not about this!
I'm arriving the same day! This is what I'm planning to do if Main Street in the MK is crowded-go upstairs to the train, take the Railroad to Frontierland, and get off there. Anyone know why that may not work? Right now, I'm thinking that'll be a good plan.I've read this whole thread and am somewhat worried now..........We arrive on the 29th (thankfully) and should have half a day at Magic Kingdom, which is where DD will want to go first.
