there are great decorations up for all holidays. :santa: Christmas is extra special. We enjoy a whirl around the Fort everynight to see the lights.:thumbsup2 Expect things to be busy though.

Sorry, I wish I had some pictures to share but I can tell you that Christmas at FW is just as if not more magical than anywhere else at Disney. Matter of fact, I think during the Christmas holidays the campground is a hidden jewel. EVERYONE decorates their sites and some folks even decorate their cabins. I decorated two cabins one year when we went for our annual Chrsitmas family get together complete with lights and several blow up Mickeys. You know how some people get in there car and drive around there neighborhoods looking at their neighbor's Christmas lights, well we do the same thing here at FW. Except we use bikes and golf carts! Nothing like a cup of hot cocoa, some fresh homemade christmas cookies, a protable radio for Christmas music and your decked out Christmasy golf cart zooming around the campground checking out the sites to get you in the holiday spirit in Florida! I have a box of Christmas decorations just to take to FW and the rest for the house. I can't wait to get back during the holidays! :)

Christmas at the Fort is great. We stay in a cabin usually from the middle of the month until right before Christmas although we have spent one Christmas day there too. We decorate outside our cabin with lights and inside with a small tabletop tree. Our decorations are quite modest compared to others! We love to walk around the RV loops to see the wonderful decorations they put up! The mood around the campground is festive and friendly. Now I miss it!

reneritch - In your pictures I see that you have the Mickey Ears Light I have been looking for. Do you make it or buy it someplace. The only insturctions I can find on this site are the ones for the lamp post. Yet you see those lights all over the fort. Thanks for any help.

The red Mickey Ears light next to the tree, my DH made is for us. He also made the Mickey lamp post.
