Ok....guess I needed a moving buddy! LOL! Glad I found the link on the old thread.....I was lost and all alone:( But now I'm found:D !

As promised, here is a song finally!

Be Unto Your Name

We are a moment, You are forever
Lord of the ages, God before time
We are a vapor, You are eternal
Love everlasting reigning on high.

Holy, holy Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Highest praises honor and glory
Be unto Your name
Be unto Your name

We are the broken, You are the healer
Jesus Redeemer mighty to save
You are the love song we'll sing forever
Bowing before You blessing Your name

Jill, I'd like to go to the movie, but DH isn't really excited about the idea and I don't want to go alone! We'll see.

Hey Jilly....when ya comin' north for a vacation again? Just wonderin':D . We are planning puppies for late summer, so our travel plans are quite iffy after mid June on into fall.

Tasha, I love Be Unto Your Name!! :) Good to see you!

I will come and bow down
At Your feet Lord Jesus
In Your presence is fullness of joy
There is nothing
There is no one
Who compares with You
I take pleasure in worshipping You Lord

Hi, all!!

So glad to find you! I just got back from a "Walk to Emmaus", what a powerful retreat!! I didn't really feel that I needed the spiritual renewal, since I've been on an odyssey of that the last two years (after my separation). But just the love that was expressed all weekend and topped off by eight members of my church congregation making a 2 1/2 hr trip (each way) to be there for me Saturday night! Wow!

So, I'm singing

WIDE OPEN

Newsong – WIDE OPEN
From the album – WIDE OPEN
Label – Reunion (2001)

Heaven’s gates were closed
And there seemed to be no hope for fallen man
We were prisoners of our sin
With no way to enter in
But God had a plan
The Father knew there had to be a perfect sacrifice
So Jesus came
A cross was raised and when he laid down his life

chorus:
Wide open, wide open
They nailed His arms wide open
After three days in a cold grave
The power of sin was broken
Now with outstretched arms he welcomes in
Everyone who trusts in Him
His nail-scarred hands hold heaven’s gates wide open

For so long my eyes were closed
I couldn’t see a way of hope for someone like me
And in my despair I cried
There’s got to be more to this life,
Lord help me please
And the Father said,
There had to be perfect sacrifice
That’s why Jesus came
A cross was raised and He laid down His life

(chorus)

For every weary heart that aches
For every dream this world will break
There’s a promise in its place
God has made a way

(chorus)

In Him,
Edie

Hairbrush Song: Veggietales

Narrator: "Our curtain opens as Larry, having just finished his morning bath, is searching for his hairbrush. Having no success, Larry cries out ..."
Larry: "Oh, where is my hairbrush? Oh where is my hairbrush? Oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where oh, where ... is my hairbrush?"

Narrator: "Having heard his cry, Pa Grape enters the scene. Shocked and slightly embarrassed at the sight of Larry in a towel, Pa regains his composure and reports ..."

Pa: "I think I saw a hairbrush back there!"

Larry: "Back there is my hairbrush. Back there is my hairbrush. Back there, back there, oh, where, back there, oh, where, oh, where, back there, back there, back there ... is my hairbrush?"

Narrator: "Having heard his joyous proclamation, Junior Asparagus enters the scene. Shocked and slightly embarrassed at the sight of Larry in a towel, Junior regains his composure and comments ..."

Junior: "Why do you need a hairbrush? You don't have any hair!"

Narrator: "Larry is taken aback. The thought had never occured to him. No hair? What would this mean? What will become of him? What will become of his hairbrush? Larry wonders ..."

Larry: "No hair for my hairbrush. No hair for my hairbrush. No hair, no hair, no where, no hair, no hair, no hair, no where back there, no hair ... for my hairbrush."

Narrator: "Having heard his wonderings, Bob the Tomato enters the scene. Shocked and slightly embarrassed at the sight of Larry in a towel, Bob regains his composure and confesses ..."

Bob: "Larry, that old hairbrush of yours ... Well, you never use it, you don't really need it. So, well, I'm sorry ... I didn't know. But I gave it to the Peach - 'cause he's got hair!"

Narrator: "Feeling a deep sense of loss, Larry stumbles back and laments ..."

Larry: "Not fair! Oh, my hairbrush. Not fair! My poor hairbrush. Not fair, not fair, no hair, not fair, no where, no hair, not fair, not fair, not fair! My little hairbrush!"

Narrator: "Having heard his lament, the Peach enters the scene. Himself in a towel, both Larry and the Peach are shocked and slightly embarrassed at the sight of each other. But recognizing Larry's generosity, the Peach is thankful ..."

Peach: "Thanks for the hairbrush."

Narrator: "Yes, good has been done here. The Peach exits the scene. Larry smiles, but, still feeling an emotional attachment for the hairbrush, calls out ..."

Larry: "Take care of my hairbrush. Take care, oh my hairbrush. Take care, take care, don't dare not care. Take care. Nice hair. No fair. Take care, take care ... of my hairbrush."

Narrator: "The end!"

Glad you made it, Tasha and Edie! Lisa, how did the solo go?
Jill, I love that quote. So true.

Stuck in a day
Like a runner with no race
Are you afraid
Your joy has been misplaced
It's been a while
Since I've seen you smile
How easy you forget
So roll back the time
And there you will find
What never left

[Chorus]
The day heaven found you
The day the angels sang
Praises to the Father
Who called you by name
The moment you surrendered
The moment you were saved
Life as you knew it forever was changed
And all the above rejoiced

Remember the day
When God forgot your sin
Remember the way
That joy came tumbling in
There will be times
When you cannot find
A reason to stand and sing
But let this remind
You time after time
You're a child of the King

[Chorus]

See them dancing
See them singing
All of heaven is rejoicing over you

Artist: MercyMe
Album: Spoken For
Song: Crazy

Why I would I spend my life longing for the day that it would end..
Why would I spend my time pointing to another man..
Isn’t that crazy

How can I find hope in dying, with promises unseen..
How can I learn your way is better
In everything I’m taught to be..
Isn’t that crazy

I have not been called to the wisdom of this world..
But to a God who's calling out to me..
And even though the world may think
I'm losing touch with reality
It would be crazy
To choose this world over eternity

And if I boast let me boast
Of filthy rags made clean
And if I glory let me glory
In my Savior's suffering
Isn’t that crazy

And as I live this daily life
I trust you for everything
And I will only take a step
When I feel You leading me
Isn’t that crazy

I have not been called to the wisdom of this world..
But to a God who is calling out to me..
And even though the world my think
I'm losing touch with reality
It would be crazy
To choose this world over eternity

Call me crazy
You can call me crazy
Call me crazy

I have not been called to the wisdom of this world..
But to a God who is calling out to me..
And even though the world may think that
I'm losing touch with reality
It would be crazy, It would be crazy, It would be crazy
To choose this world over eternity

Isn’t That crazy..
Call me crazy
You can call me crazy
Call me crazy

My kids have been singing this, and it makes you remember the heart of a child God wants us to have.

He's got the whole world
In his hands
He's got the whole world
In his hands
He's got the whole world
In his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands

He got the mother and the father
in his hands
He got the mother and the father
in his hands
He got the mother and the father
in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands

He has you and me
in his hands
He has you and me
in his hands
He has you and me
in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands.

How simple the words and how often we in our adult lives seem to forget that God has got it all under control.

I will praise You O Lord my God with all of my heart. I will glorify Your name forever. For great is Your love for me. You have delivered me.
Psalm 86:12-13

I will run to the cleft of the mountain and wait for You
Will You come and meet with me?
I will wait in the cleft of the mountain for You to pass by
Will You come and meet with me?

Oh what a joy it would be
Just for a moment to lay at the feet of the Lord
Oh more than anything that's what I long for
Oh a what a change it would bring
Just to look deep in the face of the King who gave all
You gave everything so You could meet with me
Will You meet with me

I come to you more than I give

When the time comes for us to pray
We find other things to say
Instead of giving thanks
For what God has already done we're asking for more
But with a grateful heart
We ought to pray
"Lord let your will be done
And if you never give me another thing
I'll just thank you for forgiving me"

I come to you more than I give
Always with my hands out instead of lifting them up
I come to you more than I give
Oh, Lord will you give me another chance

Always with my hands out
Instead of giving myself enough to say
Lord I know that I'm in your perfect will
Realizing as ungrateful as I've been
The giving you has removed all sin
I vow to never be the same

I give you my heart
My mind, my soul, my praise
Hallelujah

I beseech you therefore brethern
By the mercies of God
That you present your bodies
A living sacrifice
Holy, which is your job
Unto God, it is your job
To give him everything, every part of you

Hi Everyone! I am so glad everyone made it here to our new home, it's so good to see everyone!

I was wondering if you guys would mind saying a prayer for me and keeping me in your thoughts. Tomorrow I am going to take this test out at the Hennepin Technical College(that is out by me). The reason why I am taking this test is to get into this class and before you can get into the class you have to pass a test. The class I would be taking is to be come a Nursing Assistant and the class would be out at the same place that I took the test. Everyone always tells me that I am a very caring person and they think I would do very well at doing somthing like this. I have no clue what is going to be on the test, so I am a little bit nervous about that.

And I just want to say thank you, to all of you for always being there for me and each other, it really means a lot to me.:grouphug:

Sarah, of course I will be thinking of you and saying a prayer. Can't leave my moving buddy hanging, can I? Heehee.
I am very proud of you for making the choice to take this test... I bet you will be a great Nurseing Assistant. How long of a course is it?
Here is a hug, and a prayer too..

Father,
Give your daughter peace tomorrow as she takes this test, and faces changes in her life. Give her wisdom, discernment and knowledge, and touch her heart. Remind her of Your unfailing, unconditional, neverending love and I thank You for her heart for You.
Give her sweet rest tonight and bless Sarah tomorrow, Lord, as she seeks to do Your will.
In Jesus' precious name,
Amen

Thanks Jeanne! And that's right moving buddies got to stick together! LOL I am not sure how long the course is yet, maybe tomorrow they will tell me more about the class. When I get home tomorrow from the test, I will post and tell you guys all about it.

Revival ~ Robin Mark

I hear the voice of one crying
I hear the voice of one crying
Prepare ye
Prepare ye the way of the Lord

Make His path straight
Make straight His path in the wilderness
And let His light shine
For His light shine in the darkness
And let Your rain fall
Let Your rain fall in this desert

As sure as gold is precious and the
Honey sweet
So You love this city and You love
These streets
Every child out playing by their
Own front door
Every baby laying on the bedroom floor
Every dreamer dreaming in their
Dead-end job
Every driver driving through the
Rush hour mob
I feel it in my spirit feel it in my bones
You're going to send revival
Bring them all back home

I can hear that thunder in the distance
It's like a train on the edge
Of the town
I can feel the brooding of Your Spirit
Lay your burdens down
Lay your burdens down

From the preacher preacing when
The well is dry
To the lost soul reaching for a
Higher high
From the young man working
Through his hopes and fears
To the widow walking through the
Veil of tears
Every man and woman every old
And young
Every father's daughter every
Mother's son
I feel it in my spirit feel it in my bones
You're going to send revival
Bring them all back home

Revive us
Revive us
Revive us with Your fire

Sarah -- prayers are being said for your test!!!

YOU ARE STILL GOD

Scott Krippayne – YOU ARE STILL GOD
From the album – IT GOES LIKE THIS
Label – Spring Hill (2003)

I’ve prayed but still don’t have answers
At least none I’m able to see
I’ve tried to rest in not knowing
But not knowing’s a hard place to be
But as I return to Your pages
The words breathe new life to my soul
I see You at work through the ages
And know that You’re still in control

chorus:
You are still God
You have created the land and the sea
May we applaud
And sing to the wonder of Your majesty
The wind will still blow
We won’t always know
Why seasons of life are so hard
But You are still God

Help me have faith in the knowledge
That You’re greater than what we go through
And when I reside in the valleys
Help me keep trusting in You
The how and the when You are moving
Were not meant for me to decide
Again and again You are proving
You’re there at just the right time

chorus

Have a great day everyone!!

In Him,
Edie

Hurray! More people found us. :teeth:

Glad you made it, CS, Stampy and Edie! ::yes::

Sheree', He's Got The Whole World used to be one of my most favorite songs when I was a little girl. I used to make up all kinds of stuff for God to have in His hands. LOL

Sarah, I'm praying for you!

"Lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Psalms 61:2

Because often problems look smaller from a distance. ::yes::

Hear my cry O Lord
Attend unto my prayer
From the ends of the earth will I cry out to Thee

And when my heart is overwhelmed,
Oh Lord,
Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I,
That is higher than I

For Thou hast been a shelter unto me,
A high tower, Lord, against the enemy

And when my heart is overwhelmed,
Oh Lord,
Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I,
That is higher than I

That is higher than I
That is higher than I
