Sorry if this hurts anyones feelings but what kind of gift is atoothbrush and toothpaste!?

My 2 have been BUGGING me nonstop for a power rangers toothbrush and toothpaste and the same thing in strawberry shortcake, needless to say Santa will deliver them in the stocking. I can't believe they now even put those characters on the stinking toothpaste too! Not really a present so much as a filler but the more character specific junk I can find the more they'll be and its all too small to put under the tree.

Let's see--it's gift central around here b/c Ds's bday was last week, and DD's is the 1st week of December. We tend not to buy too much, as the grandparents go overboard b/c these are the only grandkids

DMIL--Princess doll (not sure which one) and a Take along dollhouse and clothes

Wow, after typing that out it seems like my kids will make a haul this year. And that doesn't include my parents or other aunts and uncles who will get them stuff.

Also wanted to add that every year at Christmas time we could count on my dgrandmother getting us a roll of Scotch tape and a new toothbrush along with all our other gifts. She said it was always nice to get something practical as a gift! It was so much of a tradition at our house, that now that she's gone I miss it!

Throughout the year when I replace their toothbrushes they either get the free ones from the dentist or whatever I pick up at the grocery store, but Santa always brings them a character one, usually a spinbrush so it's a treat for them.

There are so many kool toothbrushes out there. Last year we found Lego ones with a real lego man in the handle that you could take out and play with. DS thought they were the greatest thing in the world. A cute toothbrush always makes a good stocking stuffer. Plus this year I gave grandma and grandpa the idea to get DS a shower curtain, toothbrush holder, soap dispenser and tumbler for his Bday (come on now, they're POTC ones). DS loves pirates so they will be kool and functional in our new bathroom. He has so many toys anyway...

By the way, everyone, thanks for all the ideas! It's been a weird experience shopping this year for me, I don't know if it's just the toys out on the market right now or the fact that dd 5 has everything she wants already. I've been stumped and dd has been no help, but I've got some ideas now!

Well she said it was a stocking stuffer . Stocking stuffers are usually inexpensive. I did buy a nice pair of earings for one of DD"s stocking stuffers. Alot of us have the same stuff on our lists.
