We LOVE Giordano's so that would be a good one for us too. There is a good sized one in Downer's Grove/Oak Brook/Lombard area that I believe has a separate room so I would think if there's one near where you guys are talking they might also. Interesting that they can't accommodate us that night. I wonder what's going on. Maybe a big convention or something.

The Rainforest Cafe is a good idea but we had to really pull some strings to get the room and there was a set menu and we had to put a deposit down (if I remember right) - it was a tough one.

Good luck Kim and if you need any help calling places, let me know. I'm stuck at work all weekend and will have time to make some calls too in between things.

Thanks, Kim! Well...Priceline rejected me again...so I made a reservation at the Four Points Sheraton O'Hare in Schiller Park using Starwood Points. For now it's just me, but I may bring my son (15) with me.

I gave a $100 deposit to secure the banquet room for 50 people, but because I would NOT guarantee a $600 tab FOR PIZZA?!?!?! , they said we might be joined with about 15 other people - separated - but in the same room. Hope this is ok. Room must fit 65 people I guess. If more people sign up tho, maybe WE can fill the room!

Does anyone know how far it is from Gurnee to Gino's? We were going to stay in Gurnee on Fri. night and go to the mall on Sat. before the meet. I don't know if I should just get another hotel on Sat. night, near O'Hare, or just drive back to Gurnee after the meet and stay at the same motel on Sat. night. Any suggestions?
