I have not been lucky enough but my old neighbor did...they loved it. They attended all 3 days when they went and said it was fantastic and being in a hotel full of Cub fans was a blast. They moved out of state or I would ask them for more detail, lol. I remember they liked getting to hear/see the players throughout the weekendI have a 4 letter response. (It’s “nope” in case you were wondering)
So has anyone ever attended Cubs Con?
Oh, so I'm going with YOU not Dan? Cool!I just scored 3 tickets to the convention! They were $128 each with all taxes, fees, etc. That's $12 more than last year (I couldn't get passes last year).
My son VInce and I went to the very first one in 1986. We went one day, Saturday. Riding the exuberance of the 'almost' 1984 season and a rather lackluster 1985, the then Director of Marketing, John McDonough (a true marketing guru and now president with the Blackhawks), came up with the idea for a mid off-season fan convention The first several years they were held at the Regency Hyatt House in Rosemont. We went to another back in probably about 1995, then held at the Chicago Hilton and Towers. For that one we stayed at the hotel for a Friday and Saturday. So has anyone ever attended Cubs Con?
Congratulations, Robin, enjoy!!I just scored 3 tickets to the convention! They were $128 each with all taxes, fees, etc. That's $12 more than last year (I couldn't get passes last year).
Yes, Robin, not me.Oh, so I'm going with YOU not Dan? Cool!
I htink s LOT of people will, which is what the Brewers will love~Cub fan's funding Jake's contract. I think Wade would stay with the Cubs it is just a matter of $ again. He isn't getting any younger and for sure we will need either Wilson to figure out his issues or get another 8th inning guy as CJ is almost there but not for back to back games. I am really hoping Hickey is the missing link to getting CJ away from those walks.I like Wade. I hope he stays. I would love for Jake to stay but if he goes to the Brew Crew I just might pop in for a game or two to see him pitch.
Didn't listen but read the text ... OH HELL NO! to Ozzie Guillen. I don't want his ilk anywhere near my Cubbies. He is horrible on so many levels. And I don't was Samardzija back either.also, I forgot to post this the other day...so much the Cubs have to consider

Notwithstanding Bryant and Harper being friends, that is NOT a good trade in my book. I think Harper is an arrogant BLEEP.Couple thoughts:
1) Dodgers won't sign Jake. They are trying to get under the luxury tax so they can make a run at Harper next offseason.
2) I'm not opposed to the Cubs trading JHey. If they're able to do that, I have a good feeling about possibly getting Harper in 2019. He and Bryant are very good friends.
