Cubs on my brain while grabbing lunch~ let's get to the upcoming road trip~I think it will be welcome for these guys. They have done well on them and Rizzo's bat LOVES the Red's Great American Ballpark . I know the Red's are on fire, but we score a lot at that park and that could be the stress lifter. Y'all remember KB's 3 bomb game last year, right? Szczur great there too if he is still with us then. Boston after that but if the weather cooperate's that "could" be a pretty even keel match up if we come in hot off of the Red's. If Willy's bat gets as hot as his arm and Zobie keeps hitting his game 7 spot (how fun was THAT hit last night? I flashed back immediately to game 7 )and our defense stays? No worries from me~ said it before and will say it a lot, this team is a blast to watch , I always want more.

That was me last night...the hubs surprised me with not one but TWO games for my birthday. And a tour of Wrigley with pictures taken in front of the ivy. Be still my heart.

I would say at this point Almora should be lead-off followed by Bryant, Rizzo, then Schwarber. Zobrist needs to be out of the lineup, guy is disgraceful right now. How many DP's with runners in scoring position is this guy going to hit into?

and I APPRECIATE it! After the first inning I went and put my jersey on. I was like, ok..game on~my DH came home and said, "uh-oh, she's wearing the Miggy, she means business" lol. My favorite mug is my W one but I only drink out of it after a win...it was getting a little dusty, can't wait for my coffee tomorow

keep the bats going to give Kyle run support tomorrow and head to Cinci in control. Hopefully the game doesn't get rained out.

BTW...anyone notice JHey is leading the team with a .300 average!?!?!? Way to go Jason!

By the way, even if Zobrist hits a homerun tomorrow, my opinion won't change. He needs to be pulled from the lineup and given some time off. He's killing us right now.

It's a bummer that we're under .500 now. We were NEVER under .500 all last season. Gotta get them tomorrow!

and we are right back at .500~ tomorrow's game would be a sweet W bumping us up over the Brewers in the standings..letting the Red's know we're coming!
