The Best Burger on Property

B & C burger topped with fried onions and then onion rings on the side! The best!
The B&C burger used to be good. But it got surpassed many years ago. It’s a mystery why this place is so popular when you can get better just across the lake at the Dolphin Fountain. Without having to wait forever.

The Wayfinder burger at the Wailulu lounge (Poly Island Tower) is my current favorite on property. Smash burger style with slaw and a special sauce. It was messy but delicious. And I loved being able to choose a side other than fries. This macaroni salad was perfection.

Where is this found?

Ahh, sorry, my page refreshed while I was typing. Didn’t realize it lost that bit. This is at the Wailulu lounge at the Polynesian Island Tower. I’ll go back and edit. Thanks.
Thanks - I should have known that. I stayed at the PIT a few months ago and did have the burger there.

Only complaint I’d have is double that portion! Stitch would destroy that burger at that point. Other than that, nice looking burger!

No, this isn't yet another thread asking where the best burger on property is. Instead I'm giving my opinion of which is the best. How does this look?

That's the Bison Burger at Geyser Point (Wilderness Lodge). It's a huge burger with cheese, bacon & onion straws. Yes, with a mound of fries.
You can't go wrong with a Bison Burger, always a go-to for us!

I wasn't impressed with the Stackhouse Burger at Steakhouse 71. The Burger at the Boathouse was very good but that was a few years ago, I'll have to try it again.
I think it changed recently...I got one the last week of August and it was not as good as past trips...I think its a different bun and you no longer get the waffle fries...just normal fries now.

I had the $5 wagyu burger on the happy hour menu at Summer House and it was fantastic.

Also recent trip STH71 onion rings were greasy.
They removed fee from my bill because I mentioned it when paying at the bar .
I still ate them and said I wasn’t complaining But they said I was correct …They were not air fried
I also did not think the burger was as good but maybe the mark up at the bar is on the alcohol with better tips and they don’t want to be a hamburger stand …which is correct
But I always get excellent service at the Bar

The Three Bridges Signature Burger at Three Bridges at CSR!!
Agreed. Unfortunately, it has evolved over the years with different toppings and isn't as good as it once was with manchego cheese, potatoes, and a citrus aioli. Still top of the list.

I bet the fact that it was 5 bucks made it taste that much better! lol

Any idea if they still have this deal?

Had my beloved Stack burger again while staying at Contemporary over the first part of Labor Day weekend and it was delicious as usual. I can fairly compare it now with the wayfinder burger since I’ve had both of them pretty close together now (I had the latter a bazillion times when I was staying at the tower over the Fourth of July), and I think I give a slight edge to the Wayfinder. It’s the sauce and the bun that make the difference imo. I also prefer the choice of sides at Wailulu--the mac salad is to die for. But they’re both my favorites and you can’t go wrong with either burger.

I actually meant to hop over to Wilderness Lodge finally to try the Bison burger at last on this trip but just didn’t find the time. Someday!

People stay sleeping on Swan and Dolphin restaurants. The ambience may not be the best, just a little strip crammed into the lobby right when you come in, but the Fountain’s food runs circles around B&C and it’s not even close. Funny enough I did try the smash burger there when I moved from CR to Swan on this trip I just got back from, and it’s a solid #3 to me.

I'll be interested to hear what you think about it when you get back.

Good rating! Hidden gem.

I probably would never order it myself because at the price and the place, it just doesn't seem worth it when there are so many other menu options that are better - I will say that I had a chance to try the burger at Cake Bake Shop (a friend ordered it while I had the excellent gumbo). While there are no fancy toppings or specialty ingredients - it's just a straight-up, classic American Cheeseburger - I will say the quality was very good and the taste was very good - certainly among the better burgers in Disney at least qualify-wise. It's juicy, nicely cooked to order, and comes with very fresh classic veggies (lettuce, white onion, tomato) and a good cheddar cheese on a very nice brioche bun. All suitably high quality - but for my money, I'd rather have the classic New Orleans fare the restaurant offers (the PoBoy and gumbo both stand out) - and we started out with very tasty truffle parmesan fries.

With other spots offering excellent burgers around Disney World, and most at a better price value, I'll get my burgers elsewhere. But if you don't want the specialty dishes or are a restrictive eater, the Cake Bake Shop's burger is very good.
