It went ok. The x-ray looked bad, to me anyway but, maybe the line across the bottom of the tooth on the xray was pooled blood? (I thought the tooth was BROKE below the gum!) Dentist checked it tho, it's a little loose. They told her to avoid chewing/biting on her front teeth and, she goes back in 2 months to make sure the root hasn't been damaged. i.e. root canal. They said they don't normally see these kinds of 'accidents' except in sports. My Niece (the head-butter) is quite 'active', to say the least!!

I HATE MOMMY-GUILT! Makes me sick to my stomach!

Thanks for listening.

Ouch! I hope Kelly's teeth feel better! Is this a permanent tooth? I'm thinking yes.

ETA: I had to have a root canal as a kid. We had a long narrow kitchen/breakfast area, and I was running through it. I jumped over the vacuum cleaner that was on the floor, and didn't notice that the oven door was down. So I whacked my mouth on it. My parents were afraid at first that I had bitten through my lip, but I hadn't. But I did have to have a root canal on one of my front lower teeth. I bet I was probably around Kelly's age.

I'm not really that resistant to the food. I just got so full it was hard to eat any more! :rotfl: And last night I did eat the entire rice krispie treat. :sad2: I didn't want it to spoil! That's it! But it was soooo good. I like the ones that you get with the sticks the best, rather than the ones in the box or the ones freshly made from the candy places. For some reason those seem like the best.

Just wanted to say hi, Chicago! I haven't posted here in awhile. I'm sorry. Nothing new really going on, but I'm getting excited about our Wicked meet! :thumbsup2

Hi disneymama! :wave2:

Kim- :grouphug: :wizard: for you and Kelly. Sounds very painful! Hope her bruising will go down and hopefully no after affects of her teeth and roots.
Thanks for the good wishes for Chrissy for Thurs :goodvibes

Geffric- thanks for the good wishes for Chrissy for Thurs :goodvibes

Slo- Matthew is going to be a pirate for Halloween pirate: I bought a pirate costume at Walmart about a week or two ago. it's a one- peice costume. I haven't even tried it on him yet, but it's an adult size.

Debbie- Yor are leaving tomorrow, right? Have a great trip!! :Pinkbounc

Jedi- I did remember seeing Jiminy Cricket in your pics, too. That is so cool you got to see him!! :cool1: :woohoo:

Hi to everyone else :wave2:

Hi Everyone!

Slo: Thanks for the good wishes about the strep. It didn't hurt me as much as it hurt Megan, but I did take a whipping on my energy level. I've been in bed at 9:00 p.m. nearly every night for a week and still feel like I could use a few more hours when I get up in the morning. Megan got her energy back right away, but it took a few days for the painful throat to go away.

Soccer has become the bane of my existence! I can't WAIT for it to be over (two more weeks). Last night we had practice and it was cold and windy and I hated my DD being out there in that, but the coach wanted them to practice the whole hour. Why bother now? We have won exactly one game in the whole season. I'm a little miffed about it really because they put Megan, who's pretty good at soccer for her age, on a team with kids who had never played before and some kindergarten kids. The coach has to "teach" at the lower level. IF I sign her up next year, I am going to make sure she's put on a team that is on her level of play. She loves soccer and looks forward to playing, but she's so bummed after every game and she's bored at practice. They don't technically keep score, but the first graders can count. They know that the other team put it in the net a lot more than they did. So, we are counting the days, literally!

And, we are counting the day til Disney too. Lots of counting going on at my house!!

Well, the trip reports have been pouring in over at the trip report board and honestly, there are some really good writers over there! There are some really good trip reports, including our very own Princess Mindy who was in WDW last month with her Mom. Her report has been really good and it's made me want to stay at the Dolphin or Swan one of these days!!

Oh and Sk8Leigh... you are one lucky dog! Yumm Rice Krispie Treats!!!

Have a great day everyone!! Don't forget your warm jammies tonight!! :wave2:

Good morning everyone!
Sorry I missed you KIM! Rough morning. Can't wait to meet you though. I heard from Ginger you were all decked out in your Disney gear! I had my Mickey shirt on.
I'm still trying to remember who everyone is. Trying to keep track of the soccer Mom's, who has teenagers, who has little ones like me, who lives by me, who lives far.

I hope everyone with sick ones feels better. When I taught Kindergarten I was so.....sick every Fall.

Rosemarie I have a Matthew too and he too will be a pirate. I got a cute baby pirate costume at Old Navy but I'm afraid he's going to bake in it in WDW. Good luck at Children's on Thursday.

Those who posted pix....I love your pictures! They really make me excited about my trip.
I can't believe I am going tomorrow!

You all are very sweet and nice to talk to. Thanks for being here! :)

Thanks for listening.

OH I know Mommyguilt!! And my ds was hit with a pvc pipe at school - so I know it is hard - but your dentist does know what is what - just keep an eye on it - and dont forget those soothing hugs...

I HATE this feeling - I still feel ... blah... we think dd was sick from something she ate at the airport - again the flight was supposed to leave at 6:10

:rotfl2: I havent posted a trip report... :rotfl2: Can you believe this happened to us??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: We were "hijacked" by a NEW ME driver!! SERIOUSLY - - we boarded our ME bus at the WL at 3:30pm, and didnt get to the airport until 5:30!! THAT woman drove us ALL over, even on a dead end road, and had to back up!!! IT WAS RIDICULOUS!! A few of us called the ME number listed, but they did nothing but confirm that she had her radio OFF!! Please when boarding your ME bus, look for the NUMBER of the bus... they ask that - I only could tell them the name of the driver...

btw we blamed the ME supervisors that felt she was qualified to drive alone - and why dont they have a simple map with simple directions on the bus??? I mean, how hard can THAT be??? SHE didnt lose her cool, she remained calm, cool, and collected...

but it was horrifying!!

Then the flight was delayed. Then in the air, we circled for an hour or so, then landed in KY and waited a few hours, then took off, then landed at Ohare and had to wait (at 3 or 4 AM not enough personell to handle incoming flights... it was an ORDEAL)

so dd use of airsick bags could be due to any of that mess!!

I'm not feeling well either, maybe mono... off for a nap...

Jiminy Cricket! Yes, I guess I was lucky to get to see him, and I didn't even realize that
He was actually over at Rafiki's Planet at Animal Kingdom :goodvibes

eeyore45 - What an ordeal!!! A dead end road?? Sounds like something from a movie!! Were many people pretty upset? Your flight sounds similar to mine!! When did you fly in again?? We flew in on Oct 2, and similar thing - we circled Lexington KY and then landed in Dayton, OH to refuel :sad2: They couldn't let us off the plane because the airport only had 2 TSA employees working, so they couldn't come over to clear the plane. When we finally arrived at OHare - 2 am (many many hours after we were supposed to arrive) - there wasn't a crew ready for us :furious:

sk8leigh - We had many snack credits left over on our last day, so I headed to a bakery and loaded up on treats, like rice krispies treats, mickey Brownies, fudge, cookies. After my first day back at work, I had been daydreaming all day to come home and eat a rice krispy treat, only I discovered DH had eaten it ALL!!! None for me!! He said he figured I had plenty when I was down there

Debbie - have a wonderful trip tomorrow!! Can I go in your suitcase? I might fit! (I saw it happen on Desperate Housewives this past Sunday :rotfl2: )

OMG! I think that's an excuse for murder, or at the very least, divorce. ;) :rotfl2: What a pirate! ;) pirate:

Hi Everyone!!!

We arrived home last night at around 6:30pm.
We had a great trip!!! We did lots of things we've never done before! And it was great to have both kids tall enough to ride most of the rides.
And thanks to the dining plan we ate too much food and was able to eat and a few places we hadn't tried before as well.

Tony was able to make the trip! He arrived on Friday just in time to join us at the Liberty Tree Taven. It was Lauren's 9th b-day on Friday, so she was very happy her dad was able to join us! It was a secret to both the kids though, they had no idea DH was going to join us. We were already seated and eating when he finally got there.

It sounds like everyone had a great time at WDW. And I loved all the pictures that have been posted!!

I need to run for now, but will check in soon!!

Too much laundry and unpacking still left to do!
And on top of that I have to start planning Lauren's class Halloween party, I'm the head room mom for her class this year. And my 1st Brownie meeting is next week too. Too much going on this month!!!

I hope that everyone we sent postcards to received them. I'm always afraid those things will get lost in the mail!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!

Just a drive by! gotta go and pick up our dry cleaning! Just booked for next year and we're thinking of throwing in a chritmas cruise ont he DCL too! not positive though! have a good day chicago!

Here's the final installment of my TR :)

Thursday - Epcot day

We woke up early to get ready for our breakfast with Cinderella at the castle. I still wasn't feeling 100%, but I was feeling alot better than the night before. So we got all ready, hoped the monorail, and went to the CRT for breakfast.

wdw2004077.jpg

Things changed at the CRT from the last time we were there. Instead of Fairy Godmother sitting in the castle lobby, we now have Cinderella there taking pictures with her guests. She no longer walks around the tables. This was nice, but the girls really enjoyed seeing Fairy Godmother and they missed her.

pics475.jpg

The Princesses there that day were Alice, Snow White and Belle.

pics490.jpg

Another change is each girl got a magic wand and each boy got a magic sword. Then during breakfast they had a special thing where the kids would wave their sword or wand and make a wish - it was really cute. Stephanie has the wand in the picture below.

pics486.jpg

If you've ever been to the CRT, the food didn't change, and it's still just, okay

Then after our breakfast we headed back to The Poly for the girls to change out of their dresses and for Kevin to get his scuba items for his dive at The Living Seas.

We were there during Epcots Food and Wine Festival which is something we have never seen before. All the countries had these great food booths, but we didn't eat any of it, we were to full from breakfast.

pics028.jpg

Our first stop in Epcot is always at The Leave a Legacy to find the girls tile. We had their picture taken in 2005 when Katie was 13 months and Stephanie was 6.

pics003.jpg

Afterwards we did Spaceship Earth, went to the Art Store and bought myself a very expensive Jiminy Cricket that Kevin is giving me for my birthday, and then we headed over towards the World Showcase. We went straight for Japan so the girls could buy some Hello Kitty things and so I could get my oyster. This year, my oyster had twins!!! I had them mounted on what looks like an upside wish bone, and now I have to buy a gold chain for it.

pics016.jpg

Then our way back is when we met up with some friends (I know some of you saw this already)

pics026.jpg

After visiting with them, we raced back to the front of the park so Kevin could meet up with his scuba diving group. After he found them, me and the girls went to The Living Seas to watch him scuba dive in the big tank - it was so cool. It took a lot of time though. We were there from 4:30pm - 7:30pm.

pics045.jpg

When he was done with Dive Quest we got a bite to eat and Katie and I went to find a place to watch Illuminations while Kevin and Steph went to ride Test Track. It was a beautiful night!! Not to hot with a nice breeze. Illuminations was awesome as normal!!!

pics046.jpg

Friday - MNSHHP

The next morning we slept in a little and had a quick breakfast before we went out to rent our annual Pontoon boat. I love doing this!!!! It's so relaxing to putter around on that boat while taking in the sites.

pics047.jpg

Isn't this a great shot of the monorail!!

pics892.jpg

After our boat adventure we went swimming in the pool and then it was time to get ready for the party. We had a 4pm ADR at LTT so we had to get moving.

Stephanie was a lady bug and Katie was Cinderella

pics084.jpg

Everything was so decorated for the party, that it was hard for me to narrow my pictures down for this TR

pics083.jpg

pics085.jpg

We met up with these guys - they were pretty cool!! How can they walk on those stilts - I could never do that!!!

pics1081.jpg

When it got dark we made it over to Toon Town to see what was happening there. I persuaded Katie to go on Goofy's Barnstormer and she LOVED it!!!

pics1095.jpg

When the girls were done Trick or Treating we headed toward Cindys carousal and what did I see, could it be???? THE SEVEN DWARFS ALL TOGETHER!!!!

The line was huge, but I didn't care, we were going to see them no matter what. Stephanie says, "Mommy, do we have to wait in this line?" I said, "I have been coming here for 30 years, and I've never seen all the dwarfs at once. So yes, we are standing in this line!!!!" :rotfl2: So we did, and I was happy!!

pics1107.jpg

When our visit was over, we sat behind the castle to wait for the fireworks, which was awesome. I'm not wishing we sat in front of the castle, but that's alright, we'll do it next time.

After the fireworks we went on IASM, because the girls really love that, and than I looked at my watch, and holy cow, we better get a spot for the 10:30pm parade. So we raced back towards Main Street, cutting through gift shops like crazy people, and we got back to the big ghost and that where we stayed for the parade.

pics098.jpg

The parade was great and it had great music to go with it. I keep singing it in my head to this day

pics1133.jpg

In the parade was Christopher Robin (never saw him before)

pics1144.jpg

Tigger and Piglet were dressed up cute

pics1105.jpg

And so was my best dwarf Dopey

pics1135.jpg

When the parade was over, people started filing out of the parade as if it was closing. I asked a CM if the park was open until midnight, and she said yes. So we went against all that traffic back towards Fantasyland to catch some more rides. There was no one there, literally, it was great!! We went on Dumbe, Snow White, Peter Pan and last but not least at exactly midnight, Winnie the Pooh. With that being done, we took our very tired little girls back to the resort to get some much needed sleep. (To bad we didn't sleep right away, because we were leaving the next day and had to pack up)

Saturday - Leaving Day

We woke up to the sad thought that we had to go. We had fun on our trip, and it ended way to fast. We got the last things ready, and the headed to 'Ohanas for breakfast (which was PACKED).

We saw all our favorites some for a last time, and some for a first time.

pics498.jpg

pics505.jpg

After a very tasty breakfast we got our luggage, got in our rental Durango, and headed off to Tampa International. We had a great flight home and walked in our door at 7:30pm.

That's the end of my TR - thanks everyone for letting me share it with you.

Hi everyone!!

Have a great and wonderful trip bigben!!

I can hardly wait to hear all about it when you come home!! :teeth:

Those were wonderful pictures Sandy - thanks for taking the time - I am definately not there yet!! I too had an awesome last day breakfast at Ohana - that was some great food - I think its going to be a new tradition!!

Big Ben - ditto what Slo said - have a wonderful magical time!!

Jedi - I am sorry anyone had to travel thru Ohare/Chicago on that night!! Just so glad its behind us!! I did post on the Transportation board - and read some Southwest people got vouchers - I decided to email United - basically its no one's fault that the weather was so horrendous, but I feel that they could be better prepared for airsickness - ie have garbage bags on board to dispose of the asb - have extra asb (it was funny thinking on it when dh yelled he needed another bag and maybe 10 bags got thrown at us!! Funny now anyway - I wanted to cry then!!) I also thought they should have bottled water available for emergencies, and maybe wet wipes - - so my email was more it was horrible, it was the weather, but can you rethink how you handle children and asb's? I'll keep you posted if I hear a reply!!

 DH gets to come home at a decent time - first time since our vacation - he just started a new job, and they just got a new contract, its a very small company and everyone is pulling double shifts!! DH said he was going to have to make up our vacation hours - but with this new contract, its been done in like 4 days!!

I may have to rethink the MNSSHP party, glad to hear positive reviews!! pirate:

In today's mail were the post cards the kids sent DH, so I'm sure Megan will get hers soon! ;)

slo Great trip report! Thanks for sharing!! Great pictures!!
We loved MNSSHP too! Low crowds and lots of fun! We never made it over to Fantasyland or Toon town though!!! Can you believe it??? :teeth:
We spent most of our time in Adventure land and Frontier land, saw the parade and watched the fireworks from the bridge in Frontier land (what an awesome view!!). All the parade characters were dressed so cute!! :)
I'm glad your family enjoyed themselves too!! ::yes::
(BTW.......I have that song they played stuck in my head constantly too!! :teeth: Tony said they should have made a cd with all the Halloween type songs they played....he would have definitely have bought it!!!
"Happy Halloween to you...and you...and you.......")

Hi to all the newbies on the thread!! :welcome:
Hope you enjoy all the friendly folk here!!! :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Kim So sorry to hear about Kelly's mouth!! Poor kiddo. :(
I hope she is doing better soon!!

Gotta run!! It's time to play with all the new Disney Mr. Potato Head parts the kids bought!! They're all just too cute! :teeth:

eeyore45 Sorry your trip didn't start out or end well. Hope the middle was good. Sounds a little like eating an oreo. :teeth:

Slo I really like your trip report. The pictures of the girls are great. Now that we know what Kevin looks like he has to come to one of the meets. We aren't that scarey are we? He can always sit off with ALex, Though he may surprise us one day by actually talking :rotfl:

Bunchkin Today we received a post card from Mickey mouse :teeth: I"ll have to thank him when I see him

bigben Have a Great trip! :wave2:
