hi all! we're home, we had a blast! extended our stay and are now going on a 'minnie' trip in Janauray with some other POPpers that we met and possibly ANTSS!!! it was great hanging out with you all those nights! Chris, great meeting you too!!!!!!!! we're tired and have too much laundry to do!!!

hi all! we're home, we had a blast!

Hi Michelle! I'm glad you had a great time. You'll have to tell us all about it!

I finally got my DL pictures up on the net this weekend. It still needs some work, but here are a few.

My Mickey pancake at the River Belle Terrace. It was yummy.

Walt's apartment over the fire station...they leave the light on for him.

The view from our room. I believe it's call Grizzly Peak, a rock in the shape of a bear. It's in California Adventure. The building in the back to the right of it was the Tower of Tower.

Wanted to stop in and say

Still trying to recover from our trip - we were on a plane ride from.... that fateful Monday - left at 7:30pm from MCO - arrived at ORD at 5AM - dd lost her tummy contents a few times... and I still dont feel as if we've recovered - I know I havent unpacked - but workin on it!!

It was the best vacation to date!! So much magic - from free champagne, to "congratulations" it was all just the best!!

Thanks for posting them all! It was nice to see MNNSHP in hte pics! I've never done that. Nice to see other parts of the parks in hte pics that I haven't been to. I did recognize Chef Mickey's and hte Italy area of Epcot.
Jedi, who was with you on your trip, is that your mom and sister? Looks like hte girl(if it's your sister) had a great birthday there!
Who were the other ladies there eating lunch or dinner? One of htem almost looked like Bunchkin(Nicole), but I don't think it's her. I take it they were other Disers? Any of them from our Chicago board? I iddn't recognize the other ladies.

Glad all of you came back safely.

How did Bunchkin do with her kids there? Did her dh ever get to meet up with her at WDW??

Hi, everyone

Yeah, the pics are of my Mom and my cousin actually (I'm an only child ) And the pics with the other ladies are other ladies from the DIS trip. I only hung out with them a couple of times, but I had 2 meals with them. None are from this board - I can't believe I didn't take a picture with macraven, though - she was there!!! She's a sweetie. She brought gifts for me, my cousin and my Mom. I believe she comes home tomorrow. She's still down there

Guess what I'm eating...a Mickey rice krispie treat!!!!! I forgot I had it! And I'm glad I did, because boy, does it hit the spot! I just found it in a bag. I have a bunch more stuff from my trip. I have a chocolate-covered s'more that I got at the Candy Palace on Main Street, as well. When I was there I had eaten a chocolate peanut butter bar, and I swear it took me a couple of days to eat, so that's why I have the other stuff left over. Also at Cafe Orleans, the waitress gave us about 15 "gold pieces" of chocolate with our bill, so I still have those left, and we got a few pieces in our room every day. Not to mention a goody bag left for us at our other hotel by my cousin's bride, and some leftover snacks from the plane! Even with all this leftover food, I gained several pounds on the trip.

KimRaye - The face painting isn't easy to find For the last 2 years it was in the same place - across from Millionaire. This year it was gone, and they told us exactly where it was.

Thanks slo. I think my DBro and DSIL fell upon it by accident. It surely wasn't because I knew where it was!

Kelly has wanted to be Lazy Town Stephanie for 2 years but, like you said, the costumes end small, at size 6. Kelly can NOT comprehend that, as 'Stephanie' is 8yo on the show. ITA.

Hey do any of you have problems with the boxelder bugs! I live on the woods and they are really bad for me. Just curious........

I had ONE, early in summer, down in the basement, that was it. They are ugly.

Kelly got head-butted on Thurs, by her cousin and, it bled and it hurt but, as far as I could tell, it hurt, nothing was loose. It went ok. The x-ray looked bad, to me anyway but, maybe the line across the bottom of the tooth on the xray was pooled blood? (I thought the tooth was BROKE below the gum!) Dentist checked it tho, it's a little loose. They told her to avoid chewing/biting on her front teeth and, she goes back in 2 months to make sure the root hasn't been damaged. i.e. root canal. They said they don't normally see these kinds of 'accidents' except in sports. My Niece (the head-butter) is quite 'active', to say the least!!

I HATE MOMMY-GUILT! Makes me sick to my stomach!

Leigh I'm proud of you, not eating all those treats already! I don't think I could have made it.

Jedi I could tell that was your Mom you look so much a like. Your family looks so much alike. Only my cousin and I look alike, poor her.

Looks like today might be our last fling for fall. Tomorrow get cold . It seems like summer was sooo far away.

Sam - Hi there and good to see you!!! I'm sorry to hear about you and Megan having Strep I'm glad you both are all better now!!! Is Megan still playing fall soccer? Steph is and she doesn't like it at all!!! Were all looking forward to it being over!!

Debbie - I always have a lot of anxiety too before vacation Try and relax and take my DH's advice - if we forget it, we can always buy it If I don't talk to you - have a great and wonderful trip!!!! I can hardly wait to hear about it when you get back!!!
**Oh, I forgot......we have lots and lots of problems with Boxelder bugs. We live right next to a forest also, and they love our house!!! We just had a pest control place (the ones that took care of our raccoon problem (I had raccoon problems in the Spring) ) spray around our house to try and kill them. They do get in the house, and thank goodness they are harmless, because me and Steph just pick them up and throw them back outside or in the toilet Good luck with your bug problem!!!

Rosemarie - Sounds like you and your family had a good Sunday What is Matthew going to be for Halloween? Chrissy's costume sounds fun!!!

Jedi - I'm officially jealous of you !!!! You got to have your picture taken with one of my favorite characters - Jiminy Cricket!!!! You are so lucky - I always wanted to see him!!! Where did you find that fun cricket??

Michelle - Welcome home !!! I'm glad you had a great time!! How were the kids on the trip? Did they enjoy the characters?

Leigh - Great pictures - thanks for posting them!!! I have Mickey Rice Krispies here too that I've been snacking on - they are my favorite treat!!!

eeyore - Welcome home to you too !!! I"m sorry to hear about your DD being sick on the plane? Does she have motion sickness or was she just sick? I'm glad you had a great trip and had lots of fun!!!

HERSEY - Summer does seem like forever ago Even my vacation seems like forever ago. But X-Mas is just around the corner and that makes me happy - I love X-Mas!!!!

KimRaye when Geoff face planted last winter, he had big bruised gums and we went to the dentist for x rays et al. Not to scare you but the dentist told us that the problem can become visiable in years to come, so he may get a root canal as an adult due to the accident..

SLO I am sorry that Steph doesn't like fall soccer.. What doesn't she like about it?

Leigh - I would have eaten all the treats before we left FL, they would have called to me over and over again until i finally relented. So you were being really good. Vacation lbs always come off fast once you are back to real world. But i guess i won't suggest meeting for lunch downtown this week..

Rosemarie good luck at Children's on Thursday. maybe the snow will hold off until next year..

Jedi me too on Jimminy Cricket - wow i have never seen him before. Where did you find him? Is he only there for MNSSH?
