Dawn: She laid next to him and rubbed the side of his hand with her thumb.

Jordan: With Dawn next to him, and because he could feel her thumb on his hand he let himself fall asleep naturally, for the first time in a while.

Jordan: "oh, sweetie." he stood up and got her another ice pack. He gently put it on her head and rubbed his eyes with his other hand. He pulled her back so she was leaning against him.
