Thanks Bob :thumbsup2 oh I am aware of the good/bad of all the restaurants.

TIA!

We just ate at Chefs a couple of weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised ... my DH had the flatbread baked with cream fraiche, onion and bacon (appetizer) and Grilled Tenderloin (entree) and I had the house salad (appetizer) and Roasted Chicken (entree) ... we enjoyed everything very much ... it was our first time there so I really didn't know what to expect but the service was great and the food was very good ... we definitely would go back ...

We've been there 4 times and I would go from good, to good, to bad and last time to downright ugly.

I don't think I'll be much help.

We really enjoy Chefs de France. We have had great experiences all of the many times that we have gone. Our most recent visit was this past Feb. I had the escargot for my appetizer and the beef tenderloin for my entree, and both were delicious. I had the creme brulee for dessert, and it was good. The server that we had was just wonderful. We usually make an early dinner adr so we have a better chance to get a window seat.

please do not refrain from saying how you feel, I am searching out new restaurants -- I always have a few that are "must do's" but also try to add a couple of new ones

all the info will be appreciated

I know that many really enjoy dining at Chefs de France. When we were there in June, we loved the atmosphere and the service was very good, although a bit rushed. Yet we were so very disappointed in the food! Although the flatbread appy was good, everything else was simply pushed aside. The lamb was cold and mostly gristle. The fish dishes were both extremely overcooked yet cold. I could go on and on. We love all cuisines and were looking forward to the menu as it sounded wonderful. Never again. :sad2:

Click on this link http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-podcast/ It will take you to the Dis-Unplugged podcast webpage (this is operated by the same people who operate the dis-boards). On the left-hand side you will see the play symbol. Click on it and then fast forward to about 45 minutes into the show and you will hear an awesome review of Chefs de France. Kevin who does the reviews is very honest (don't get him going about his feelings for Ohana's) and he said he really enjoyed his experience.

We tried it for the first time while there this past November and loved it. We had the tenderloin and it was absolutely wonderful. My kids (11, 9, and 6) say it's a must do again. We also visited Le Cellier in the same trip and liked Chefs de France more.

Well I have to say that my entire family (all 13 of us on a grand gathering) were impressed with Chefs. I was very nervous due to bad reviews but I didnt pick it my cousin did. I have to say it was my favorite place all week.

Our family of 4 had:
Appy:
Bacon and onion tart - excellent
Goat cheese salad - good
cheese plate - good
childs cheese puff - excellent

Entree:
2 Beef Filets with cheesy potatoes - OMG soooo good we loved this
Duck - very good my sister loved this
childs burger - ok but my son ate off my plate too. Fries very good.

Desserts:
creme brule (sp) - good
choc puffs - just ok for me
childs icecrem - he ate all of it so it was good.

I hope that helps. I tried to change this ressie due to bad reviews and I am soooo glad we ate here and we will go back. The french roll was wonderful and we asked for second for the baby. Our waitress was wonderful and we asked what she suggested and that is what we orderd. We tipped extra due to the great service actually. I know we are probably the odd balls because most people dont have this good of an experience. We dined early so maybe that was the reason. Ressie was for 6 and we were seated 5 min early.
